Responsibilities:
Live on-site in a Boys Town Family Home and provide direct care for 6-8 at-risk youth through creating a safe and loving family-style living environment
Provide emotional support utilizing praise, positive feedback, affection and empathy to build one's self-confidence and respect
Use rational problem-solving techniques to teach youth critical thinking skills, assist with behavioral problems, counsel through personal issues and provide crisis intervention
Plan, participate and provide opportunities for individual and family activities that are both educational and entertaining
Display and teach parenting, family and relationship skills to youth, legal guardians and caretakers to create family engagement
Maintain contact with both internal and external consumers agencies to obtain or provide information regarding youth's behaviors, strategies and progress
Prepare written records for household budgeting, tracking youth progress, reporting incidents/behaviors and document youth medical needs and appointments
Teach and role model Boys Town values and ethical behaviors, as well as support and encourage participation in regular religious activities
Supervise the activities of assigned Assistant Family-Teacher to aid in their development and success

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

**The Team** We are seeking an Operations Site Lead to join American Tower's Network Operations department. The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) plans for and responds to both natural and man-made disasters. These range from floods and hurricanes to incidents involving hazardous materials or nuclear power. FDEM is the liaison between federal, state, and local agencies. FDEM prepares and implements a statewide Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, routinely conducts extensive exercises to test state and county emergency response capabilities, provides technical assistance to local governments as they prepare emergency plans and procedures, as well as conducts emergency operations trainings for state and local government agencies.
FDEM serves as the lead agency for the State Emergency Response Team (SERT), whose primary goal is the coordination of the state's efforts during disaster response and recovery. This coordination is conducted within the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Tallahassee. Additionally, FDEM manages the State Watch Office; the 24-hour a day operation tasked with providing situational awareness to stakeholders statewide. After a disaster, FDEM conducts damage assessment surveys and advises the Governor of the State of Florida on whether to declare an emergency and seek federal relief funds. It is against this backdrop that FDEM strives to demonstrate its mission of, "Coordinate, collaborate and communicate with our community stakeholders for a resilient Florida" along with our vision of, "Leading the Profession in building prepared and resilient communities".
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The Resources Unit Leader (RESL) plays a critical role in managing incident resources. This position ensures effective resource tracking, allocation, and coordination and establishes all incident check-in activities including preparing and processing resource status information and maintaining a master list of resources assigned to the incident and their assignment at the incident. This position is a Unit Leader level position on Florida's State All-Hazards Incident Management Team, a field deployment team.
Duties for the position include, but are not limited to:
* Configure unit with personnel to support operations.
* Compare resource needs with a list of resources available for assignment and follows the ordering process to submit completed resource requests, as necessary.

Communicates and coordinates with other Team Leads, business leadership, and Project Manager to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the enterprise. Oversees, defines and monitors critical path activities and resolves issues or escalates issues to the Project Manager as needed. Drives the design and implementation of new business processes with organizational structure and required ERP configuration.
Must possess an in-depth understanding of the business function/process supported, and also be viewed as a credible representative of that business function/process. Successful implementation is dependent on the ability of the incumbent to influence business leadership and management decisions and drive ownership and acceptance of changes to the business.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of IT and business work experience including managing team(s) responsible for systems implementation and/or infrastructure support. Often is recruited internally from high-level management positions in the organization.
Breadth: Middle level management. Works under general direction of senior level management. Typically manages and mentors supervisors, project leads and/or technical staff. Degree of integration driven by ERP requires a consensus decision making process across Team Leads. Once key decisions are made, Team Lead then has autonomy for the technical decisions to support the business, but business process decisions are made through constant education and negotiation with business leadership and management. Works on complex business issues, which have a significant impact to the enterprise and across enterprise processes and functions due to the integration of ERP. Frequently reports to a Chief Technology Officer, Competency Center Leader or Departmental IT Executive.

This position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with the execution of operational, sales, and merchandising objectives by providing outstanding customer service. **Required Qualifications**
Experience: Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
**Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities**
+ Pet/Live Animal, pet food, pet product knowledge is strongly preferred.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to perform and execute principle responsibilities of Team Members.
**Working Conditions**
+ Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise.
+ Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate.
+ Work shifts vary from one store to another, but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours

**Physical Requirements**
+ This position is non-sedentary.
+ It is essential that Team Members have the physical and mental stamina and ability to move throughout the store and outdoor areas quickly and safely.
