Manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 90 active immigration cases, including H-1B sponsorships, transfers, relocations, and all work visas for sponsored employees.

Support long-term strategic planning by helping the team understand the evolving immigration landscape and developing forward-looking recommendations that align with business needs.
Oversee the delivery of quarterly updates to key stakeholders regarding immigration cases, risks, and process performance.

HR Service Center Support + HR Help Desk Implementation
The are transitioning to a new HR Help Desk platform (Oracle HRIS) currently being developed with go-live slated for Q1/Q2.
Help in optimizing HR Help Desk functions and processes, ensuring a seamless implementation and ongoing continuous improvement… much of this work is done/built out but need someone to take ownership of existing project work, cross-train team members, and facilitate effective knowledge transfer as the system is launched.
There are four coordinators who handle FAQs, emails, and calls, and they will escalate to this person if they do not know the answer.

Review and research commercial real estate transactions and company policies, as needed.
RISK MANAGEMENT:
Facilitate incident reports for possible losses.

Provide support, direction, and guidance to Risk Management Associate as needed.

This position provides legal assistance to the attorneys in the Law Department and includes some direct interaction with business personnel.
Location: Arden Hills, MN. Hybrid work arrangement: Tuesday - Thursday in the office throughout the duration of the summer internship.
Position Responsibilities
Legal research and analysis of contracts, statutes, proposed legislation, related case law, and other company documents
Drafting and revising of a variety of legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements, agriculture-related agreements, memoranda, research summaries, and other company documents
Attendance at company events and functions, including general participation in the Law Department meetings, both generally and as invited by specific attorneys
Collaboration with law clerk colleagues and other members of the Law Department to manage projects and deliver timely and excellent work product
Experience-Education (Required)
Enrolled in a course of study at an accredited law school leading to a JD degree, with a target graduation date of May 2028 (i.e., you have just completed 1L year)
Note: This position requires a commitment to work full-time during Summer 2026 (Early June through Mid-August) and part-time during the 2026-2027 (2L) and 2027-2028 (3L) school years.
