Essential Responsibilities
Greet customers and work to build a good customer relationship that creates confidence in the company's products and services.
Work with customers to determine service needs. Refer to service history and recommend additional needed service, where appropriate relating to maintenance work, parts and accessories, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Schedule customers for specific drop off and pick up times.
Accurately estimate and document all work and associated charges on the repair order. Confirm how costs will be covered - by customer, through warranty/extended warranty, or company policy.
Issue repair order to service technician to get work order completed.
Keep customer informed and updated on the repair status of their equipment, including parts on order and status of total cost of the repair.
Once completed, verify that quality control audits have been done to ensure completion of the work according to the customer's request. Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers.
Call the customer and arrange for pick up and payment of services.
Close work orders in a timely manner.
