A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00PM - 11:30PM, including every other weekend and holiday. A caregiver who excels in this role will: * Clean patient rooms, utility rooms, nourishment rooms, conference rooms, offices, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and restrooms. * Clean toilets, urinals, sinks and lockers. * Replenish supplies. * Collect trash and needles and dispose of them in an appropriate manner. * Dust ceilings, ceiling vents, TVs, light fixtures, doors, walls, wall hangings and flat surfaces. * Wash or spot clean walls, cabinets, elevators, counters, desks and windows. * Clean floors, carpets, floods and body fluids. * Use and maintain equipment, such as vacuums, buffers, cleaning carts, buckets, wringers, sweeping tools and mops. * Clean and disinfect beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, IV poles and other items in patient rooms. * Strip and make beds. * Transport and move furniture and equipment. * Report malfunctioning equipment, unsafe conditions and broken items.
