The Help Desk Technician will provide outstanding customer service as part of the first response technical support team for users of CBE systems. The Technology Change Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all changes to the organization's IT systems and services, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly with minimal disruption to business operations. Operating within the ITIL framework, this role manages the entire change lifecycle - from initial request through review, approval, implementation, and post-change evaluation. In our Agile and DevOps-driven environment, the Change Specialist bridges fast-paced development efforts and stable IT operations, balancing the need for rapid innovation with rigorous risk management and control. As a Technology Change Management Specialist, you will:
Change Governance: Oversee the end-to-end change management process, ensuring ITIL-aligned governance, risk assessment, and compliance. Risk & Impact Analysis: Perform thorough technical and business impact assessments for all changes, identifying dependencies and potential disruptions. Develop mitigation strategies and rollback plans to safeguard service continuity and minimize risk. Collaborate with technical teams to validate readiness and ensure successful implementation.
Communication: Provide clear, proactive communication to stakeholders regarding change schedules, risks, and outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs (e.g., change success rate, incident correlation) and implement process enhancements.
Incident Coordination: Collaborate with Incident Manager during major incidents to assess emergency changes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all changes in the ITSM platform.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Education
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
ITIL certification(s) preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Agile or DevOps certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, DevOps Foundation) preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in IT Service Management or related roles.
Minimum of 1 year of Change Management or related roles

Job Description: IT Support Engineer
Contract: 3 Years
Roles and Responsibilities:
Detailed Primary Description of project/Requirement Description
Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software/applications within established standards and guidelines.
Working with OEM vendors for replacing spares, hardware repairs & troubleshooting
Inventory management
Imaging of Laptops & Desktops
Printer Management
Assistance in fixing issues for Conference room and working with Vendor for room setup
Hardware/software troubleshooting and resolution
Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets, and support mobile phone and non-PC equipment such as scanners and printers.
Offer VIP support with tailored, high-touch service and manage audio-visual, conferencing, and technologies
Network & Sharing printer installation
Knowledge of Office 365 support
Coverage/compliance software installation and troubleshooting
Good communication skill
Good Knowledge of DHCP, DNS.
Maintain IT inventory, coordinate vendor support, and assist with procurement
Support Mac devices
Strictly adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
Support recurring meetings, events, and after-hours activities as required
Documenting incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference and for the knowledge base
Profiles focused primarily on service desk or remote assistance are not suitable for this engagement.

L1 level network troubleshooting and resolution for LAN Connectivity
Hands & feet support to Backend team for Network/Server/application issue
Working with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues
Labelling Racks & devices
Server mounting/movement
Hands & Feet Support for DC (Compute, Storage, Backup, Network.) Hands & feet Support Requirement for Physical Servers, Network Devices, Storage, etc Device reboot, console connection for remote access, cable/SFP removal/insert, cable replacement, racking/stacking, etc.

Job Description
Base 44 is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Tech Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key player in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative start-up environment. As a Tech Support Specialist, you will be on the front lines, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the overall success of our product. You'll have a significant impact on our users and the growth of our product. In this role, you will:
* Operate with minimal supervision and substantial discretion on matters of significance.
* Assist users with product-related issues, offering timely and effective solutions.
* Diagnose and resolve technical problems, utilizing your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
* Go beyond issue resolution: Educate users on effective vibe-coding techniques and guide them toward best-practice build approaches that help them realize their vision.
* Proactively communicate technical issues, emerging trends, and potential improvements to the team, and raise concerns and flags as needed.
* Work cross-functionally within a cohesive team environment to ensure product success, working closely with Development and Product teams to document issues, test features, and provide regular, actionable feedback.
* This role includes occasional evening and weekend work to support incidents, releases, and maintenance windows. Coverage is shared via a rotation, and we provide advance notice whenever possible.
This position is a hybrid role and candidates should be prepared to be able to come to our office in Cedar Rapids at least 3 days per week.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience working in Technical Support/Solution topics in a Web environment , owning complex investigations and escalations.
* Able to read browser console and network tab for troubleshooting purposes (JavaScript and React etc ).
* Strong technical skills, learns fast, embraces unfamiliar tools/docs, and is driven by curiosity about the unknown.
* Takes full ownership of initiatives, drives completion in fast-paced settings, and proactively suggests improvements.
* Effective and adaptable when things move fast and plans are still evolving.
* Excels at synthesizing and explaining complex topics, working well in teams with a strong growth mindset.
Bonus points
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
* Hands-on tinkering with "vibe coding" - side projects or small experiments you can show.
* Strong technical writing for specifications, runbooks, and incident reports
* Comfortable inspecting network requests and spotting errors in the console.
* Experience troubleshooting API connections and integrations or with system reliability engineering.
