Herman Construction has an immediate opening for an experienced lead superintendent with ground up, multi-family experience. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, responsible for overall onsite management of the project from inception to final acceptance. The Lead Superintendent will provide supervision and leadership of subcontractors and ensure safe conditions on the job site at all times. The Superintendent will work closely with the assistant superintendent and project manager. Must have a minimum of 10 years experience within the multifamily sector as a construction supervisor with a proven background. Requirements • 10+ years of progressive experience with ground-up, multi-family projects of 100 units or greater, ideally as a Lead Superintendent, or in a similar position. Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques. • Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred. • Proficiency with reading, understanding, and interpreting plans, specifications, drawings, contracts, and other documents. • Demonstrated ability to professionally resolve issues with clients, subcontractors, and other third parties in a timely manner. • Computer skills: proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook • Experience using Procore or another construction project management software • Ability to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines. • Ability to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results. • Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensures adherence to rules by communicating policies and procedures to campers and staff and documenting infractions of campers. * Provides a safe environment by attending safety training, supervising campers, working with lifeguards to ensure pool safety, reporting any safety hazards to supervisors, and completing accident/injury reports as needed. * Coordinates programs by assisting with planning activities, submitting weekly activity sheets and requests, and coordinating vendors as needed. Key Responsibilities Oversee installation, commissioning, and seamless integration of additive manufacturing equipment. Manage daily equipment operations, including scheduling, monitoring, and optimizing utilization for maximum efficiency. Lead service activities: coordinate internal maintenance and OEM/vendor support; create and track work orders. Coordinate and complete equipment calibration activities, ensuring compliance with standards and OEM documentation. Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, including at least 3 years in additive manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to maintain calibrated equipment in regulated or high-precision industries. Proficiency with ERP systems such as IFS for maintenance, work orders, and inventory management.
