The Director of Operations reports to the Vice President, Operations and is responsible for motivating, developing, and leading a team of five direct reports and 100+ indirect employees.
The Director ensures all Cardinal Health operational, financial and safety procedures are followed, enabling relevant key financial performance indicators are met and operational goals are achieved. The new state of the art automated distribution center, located in Indianapolis, IN is 230,000 square feet and picks, packs, and ships approximately 26.5 million lines of pharmaceutical products annually. The Director role is essential to maintaining clear and frequent communications with all levels within the organization as well as with customers.
The Director provides strategic direction and leadership, ensuring execution of the distribution center's employee engagement and retention strategies and internal and external customer satisfaction. In addition, this leader will lead the distribution center's compliance with all appropriate state and federal agencies.
Position Accountabilities
Provide strategic leadership to managers, experienced professional staff and operational associates
Promote a productive work environment with high employee engagement levels
Lead initiatives designed to improve processes or continuous improvement projects throughout the facility
Develop and implement key performance indicators, policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals
Influence and understand the business and culture strategy and translate the strategy into executable initiatives for their department.

Interact with internal and external leaders, including senior management across the Supply Chain

Enforce Cardinal Health compliance and regulations for OSHA, DEA, FDA, state and local authorities, primary facility contact for QRA compliance.

Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
7 -10 years of senior level experience in a distribution environment preferred
5 years of operations management experience preferred
Experience launching new distribution sites preferred
Experience implementing and scaling modern technology solutions (ERP, WMS, TMS)
Experience managing supplier relationships and global vendor performance
Strong financial acumen, analytical, organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety laws and best practices
Experience working with Lean Six Sigma projects

Internal Controls and Compliance
* Establish robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with diocesan policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
* Coordinate and oversee annual audits and ensure prompt resolution of any findings.
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
School Financial Support and Training
* Provide financial guidance, training, and resources to LCSS staff.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to strengthen the financial acumen of LCSS leadership.
* Assist with financial challenges, ensuring corrective measures are implemented when necessary
Endowment and Investment Management
* Collaborate with the LCSS Advancement Office to oversee the management of school endowments and other investments.
* Ensure that investment strategies align with Catholic social teaching and diocesan guidelines.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 5-10 years of senior-level financial leadership experience, preferably within a school system, nonprofit, or faith-based organization.
* Demonstrated success in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and operational management.
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and nonprofit financial practices. Experience in Fund Accounting, 2 years

POSITION OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property and Asset Management
Work cross-functionally across all teams to ensure eviction processes are performed according to company policy.
Oversee all aspects of the apartment communities to maintain financial goals and metrics, ensure the properties are well-maintained and meet company standards.
Regularly inspect your designated assets' physical condition, ensuring great curb appeal, clean common areas, and are a safe environment.

Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of APIs (small molecule and peptide) located in Lebanon, IN (Lilly Lebanon API). This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the startup team for a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to build the processes and facility to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations.
Main Purpose and Objectives:
The Senior Director - Quality Control is part of the Senior Leadership Team of the Lilly Lebanon API site (LP1). The QC Senior Director provides administrative and technical leadership in the development, performance, and maintenance of the QC Labs throughout the start-up, implementation, and day-to-day operations of LP1.
The Sr. Dir. - QC must balance coaching a technical staff, prioritization and staffing for routine production support activities, implementation of technical projects, and process optimizations. The position requires knowledge of cGMPs, applicable global regulatory manufacturing guidance, and the corporate/industry standards for validation. The Sr. Dir. - QC will work cross-functionally within the site, network, commercialization teams, and other functions to deliver on technical objectives, specific product business plan, and quality objectives.
In the project delivery and start-up phase of the LP1 site, the Sr. Dir. - QC will be flexible in supporting project delivery, building a new organization, developing and implementing the necessary systems and business processes required to support GMP operations, and building the site culture. This will require significant collaboration, creativity, and resilience as the site grows to a full-scale GMP manufacturing operation.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for assisting the location manager with driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the location operations. This position will assist with maintenance of plant and equipment, as needed, as well as sales operations, inventory management and overall plant growth.

Assist in managing the day-today operations of the facility to provide patrons with prompt, courteous and effective service while maintaining the efficiency necessary to achieve a maximum margin of profit.
Supervise mixing, loading and dispatch.
Manage facility assets including routine maintenance, facility and equipment replacement plans and driver equipment inspections.
Manage location risk including compliance with regulations, safety and emergency response training and ongoing site inspections (DOT, Driver records, state chemist records).
Manage selected ops team members through clear job assignment definition and explanation, training and ongoing coaching.
Help maintain inventories at levels to assure service with a minimum of delivery delays, yet maintain inventory turn goals.
Assist in making crop protection and fertility recommendations using SSI, DataOnTouch, field plans, mapping and record keeping.
Assist in establishing and implementing short-term goals and budgets that are consistent with long range plans for growth in operation, including facility, equipment, and personnel.
Communicate with manager and utilize additional resources (other branch managers, credit, marketing, human resources, etc.) to maximize profitability.

Skills and Qualifications:
Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
Category 1A applicators license.

Education and Experience:
BS Agriculture related degree preferred or 3 to 5 years progressive agronomy related experience.
