The Production Coordinator role at Branson Convention Center (BCC) assists the Technology & ProductionManager with providing high quality technology and production services at the venue. The Production Coordinator also helps maintain inventory, store, repair, set, run, and strike equipment. This position works directly with clients, production companies, decorators, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of events at BCC.
Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Technology & ProductionManager, it facilitates technology, and production needs to produce high quality events at the venue
Works with multiple departments and other staff to realize internet, telecommunications, electrical service, audio, video, lighting, rigging, and other related needs for all events
Meets with clients, external vendors, and internal teams assigned to events to facilitate production designs and needs
Serves as Room Tech during events to control production and IT on site and be contact for client and staff for needs
Assists Technology & ProductionManager in maintaining event records including documentation on event recaps, repair and maintenance history and timelines, equipment inventories, and other documentation as needed
Helps maintain equipment storage rooms and event spaces for cleanliness and safe working conditions
Assists Technology & ProductionManager with exhibitor services as needed
Performs maintenance and minor repairs on IT and production equipment as needed
Provides proper control and care for life safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) for all production teams, both internal and external, working on site
Maintains good working relationship with clients, production companies, external vendors, internal departments, and other stakeholders of events taking place
Performs other duties as assigned based on facility and event needs
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED Certificate required
1+ years' experience in event production is required; experience with IT is a plus
Rigging, OSHA, and Fire Code knowledge is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow directions and relay information clearly
Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; ability to use standard office equipment and two-way radios
Physically able to sit/stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and be comfortable working in varying noise levels and environments
Ability to work on ladders and from heights; ability to be certified on operating lifts
Flexible, dependable, and adaptable to changing needs, schedules, and priorities

Your role: Our Production Supervisors are responsible for supervising day to day production operations. Candidates will supervise 25-50 hourly personnel on the production floor.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Participates in manpower planning and staffing decisions.
Participates in succession planning and talent development.
Conducts probationary and annual performance appraisals of each department employee and recommends performance increases, retraining, transfer, or termination.
Communicates Production Department goals to departmental personnel.

Works with the Quality Department to ensure production process meet IATF 16949:2016 standards.
Participates in and supports the principles of Open Book Management.
Participates in developing and managingProduction Department's annual budget.

Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout the facility to enhance efficiency, equipment performance, quality, reduce cost, and optimize operations

Summary/Objective
Oversees and manages all day-to-day production operations, in the assigned production section. Contributes to production planning processes. Allocates personnel resources. Proposes procedures improvements and implements technical infrastructure. Ensures adherence to established quality guidelines and production safety requirements. Determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules. Makes daily assignments. Directs all related personnel actions; advices staff, executes performance measurements, etc... Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process. Leads all Production Operators in production section assigned.

Job Overview
Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently. Manufacturing - Production Must be cross-trained and able to support all Assembly I roles.
