What You'll Do as a Construction Sales Rep:
Meet with homeowners (in person at our office or virtually) to understand their goals, budget, timeline, and property.
Visit job sites to review conditions and confirm project feasibility.
Work with the estimating, design, and leadership teams to develop accurate scopes of work, pricing, and proposals.
Present proposals, explain the details, answer questions, and guide customers to a decision.
Drive contracts to signature and confirm next steps, including deposits, schedules, and a clean handoff to operations.
Enter & track all customer activity, follow-ups, and next steps in the CRM system.
Build & manage a steady sales pipeline through follow-up, referrals, and relationship-building.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and check in during construction to ensure their satisfaction.
Attend trade shows and events as needed (occasional weekends).
Travel regionally to client sites across PA, MD, DE, and NJ; most projects are within a two-hour drive from the shop.

The Sales Operations Specialist I - RV plays a key role in supporting factory sales operations for Red Valve's direct and independent sales channels. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of quotations, using cost data gathered from both internal and external sources. The Sales Operations Specialist I - RV must be able to clearly interpret and communicate technical requirements to ensure accurate and competitive product quotations for end users.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
* Ability to interface well with Red Valve/DeZURIK sales channels, suppliers, internal manufacturing and engineering departments, and other applicable business contacts to support and promote engineered valve products.
* Become proficient in Red Valve products, industry standards, business system, manufacturing capabilities and internal tools to make accurate cost estimates for standard and non-standard products.
* Provide customers and Sales Representatives with technical information regarding product applications.
* Review specifications at proposal stage to determine applicable product and/or product modification for the valve application.
* Review of incoming orders and provide order clarification prior to entry including assigning part numbers and validating pricing.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines on a consistent basis.
* Develop quotations for all non-standard accessories, testing requirements, materials, and documentation as required by requests for quotation.
* Review of incoming orders while providing order clarification prior to order entry to the plant operations team.
* Track and follow up on quotations and projects to secure orders.
* Coordinate and manage quote and sales order activity between Sales, Engineering, Production, and accounting departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer support role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
* Demonstrated self-motivation, commitment to task, problem solving, and customer orientation required.
* Experience in flow control valves and actuators for the industrial industry is preferred.
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with multiple departments.
* Time management, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office program and experience with ERP Systems.

As an Inside Sales Representative at LB Foster, you are an integral part of our Sales team; responsible for selling company's products / services by calling and quoting perspective and established customers. You are responsible for supporting and coordinating with the field service group and outside salespeople to meet established sales quotas by obtaining orders and identifying and developing new customers. This role monitors competitive activity and trends within a defined territory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Diligently & promptly review and process field reports for quoting & billing.
Develop and maintain working relationships with internal service team and sales team.
Assist outside service and sales with product and service information.
Determine actions required for customer problems with the goal of resolving them.
Can enter quotes and orders with accuracy and efficiently complete invoicing.
Develop sales opportunities by researching, soliciting, building rapport, providing information to outside sales and service.
Capture accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
Support sales assignments by some (less than 10%) traveling to industrial plants and railroad customer sites.
Develop sound working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent of 4 years' experience working with customers in a sales/service environment required.
Infor-Visual and SAP experience preferred.
Prior hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical experience a plus.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
A high degree of reliability, professionalism, and the ability to independently with minimal supervision.
Minimal travel required to customer locations.

Ability & willingness to periodically assist field service teams in the field (required).
