Minimum Qualifications:
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related field plus five (5) years of related work experience including two (2) years as a project manager, program manager and/or portfolio manager, preferably with a municipality.
Licenses and Certifications Required:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Project Governance, including project delivery lifecycle management, for large capital construction projects.
Experience with cost control and cost estimation for large capital construction projects.
Experience with schedule management.
Experience with risk management, forecasting, and change management.
Ability to travel to multiple sites as part of the regular job duties.

The Capital Program Consultant provides leadership and oversight for governance activities within the Project Controls team. This role ensures consistent application of project management standards, oversees risk management, compliance, process development, and collaborates with project managers and leadership to support informed decision-making. The person in this roll manages a team and strengthens organizational project governance by enhancing standards.
Salary Range: $97,450.00 - $125,200.00

Travel:
The Austin Capital Delivery Services Department is comprised of multiple facilities located throughout Austin. If you are selected for this position, and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Record Evaluation you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.

Move safely, be efficient and maneuver with a sense of urgency throughout your workday.MONITOR - Ensure each game's stream is steady and consistent.
