Our Opportunity:
Chewy is currently seeking a Senior HumanResources Administrator at our Jessup, PA. Fulfillment Center! We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to humanresources function as needed (e.g. correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry). Acts as the first point-of-contact for employees regarding HumanResources issues.

What You'll Do:
Coordinate all new hire related activities including new team member communication, on-site preparation, orientation scheduling, and assist leadership with onboarding questions and tasks as it relates to new hires.
Conducts new employee orientations on-site to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans, policies, and procedures. Will also be responsible for completing new employee I9 forms and audits as needed.
Complete attendance reporting, processes time sheet punches and payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy of time sheets. Completes shift transfer changes. Processes changes within due dates.
Maintains employee files, initiates drug and background screenings and conducts routine file audits.
Writes, revises, edits and proofreads company policies & procedures and related documents as needed.
Uses phone, email, bulletin boards and other vehicles to communicate information. Produces the Company telephone directory.
Responsible for assigning lockers to new employees and maintaining an accurate log of available lockers.
Provide administrative support to the assigned HRBP function and local HR team. Performs other HR duties as assigned.
Assist with, plan and implement HR and other office events.
What You'll Need:
Preferred Bachelor's degree, major in business or humanresources preferred.
2-4 years of experience coordinating general humanresources duties required.
Must have digital literacy and the ability to learn HRIS system (Paychex or Kronos).
Must be proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel

As a **Senior** **HumanResources Business Partner** , you will leverage your business acumen to lead HR programs and processes for your site(s) and / or region(s). You will consult with leaders on all aspects of people leadership to ensure positive employee / labor relations, supporting the needs of the business while at the same time ensuring the fair and equitable treatment of our employees. You will lead small to medium size projects and will track project goals and tasks, report on progress, make recommendations and help with implementation. You will also ensure consistent and equitable application of organizational policies and procedures across a functional area or location and execute on talent initiatives. You will act as a change agent to enable the growth & development of our people and the organization/function.
**Your Responsibilities will include:**
+ Coach and develop leaders in all areas of people leadership, including performance management and talent development, among others.
+ Lead HR related projects and deployments and provide change management leadership where needed. Manage daily employee and labor relations and perform initial investigations of employee complaints and alleged policy violations, escalating where necessary.
+ Partner with our COE teams to implement and monitor compliance with KDP policy, HR systems, and applicable federal/state law (including but not limited to 1-9s, personnel files, Worker's Compensation, EEO, ADA, FMLA) and collective bargaining agreements.
+ Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to track and report on open positions and help manage the position requisition process for internal transfers to ensure accuracy of postings and facilitate internal movement.
+ Apply analytical skills to collect and synthesize data, formulate recommendations based on data trends and insights, and influence where needed to gain support for business proposals.
+ Develop and / or deploy various communication materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, termination letters, and other employment-related correspondence).

What You Bring
8 - 10 years of HumanResources experience

* Represent CJ Logistics at employee-related hearings and investigations.
HR Business Partnering
* Effectively coach leadership in matters relating to employees, HR processes, and HR programs.
* Assist in the creation of effective employee counseling or coaching documentation.
* Manage the resolution of employee relations investigations to ensure fair, consistent, and proper resolution in alignment with company policy, procedures, and values.
* Partner with operational leaders to develop a culture of positive employee relations and engagement.
* Responsible for providing coaching and counseling to improve retention and promote CJ Logistics America's principles.
* Ensure appropriate staffing, retention, and workforce plans are updated as business needs necessitate.
Selection, Assessment, and Onboarding
* Coordinate the recruiting process with recruiters for hourly and salary vacancies, including job fairs, open houses, job postings, etc.
* Assist recruiters in scheduling the screening and the Supervisor/Manager's interview, and help select candidates for various warehouse hourly and salary positions.
* Coordinate/conduct new hire and new leader orientations.
Human Capital Data and Analytics
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of the business and take a consultative approach, assessing and providing creative HR solutions utilizing people-related data involving employee relations, total rewards, internal mobility, and other related metrics as required.
* Manage HRIS and administrative tasks to provide proper and accurate data entry, maintenance, and reporting in a timely manner.
* Review reports and dashboards that measure business improvements and provide suggestions for future changes or decisions.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree required, SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
* At least 6 years in HR Management positions in a work environment with an hourly/light industrial workforce.
* Union avoidance techniques and practices to ensure positive employee relations.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, resolve conflict, and drive desired business results.
* Demonstrated previous HR experience making complex decisions based on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written skills.
* The ability to successfully collaborate with exempt and non-exempt employees.
* Ability to sit for extended periods and walk in a non-climate-controlled warehouse on a daily basis.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computers, including all Google platforms
* Ability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 operation and maintain a cadence of visibility on all shifts.
* Ability to travel up to 10%

* Ability to identify and anticipate location needs and make recommendations
