The Inserter Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of inserting machinery for mailing jobs in preparation for USPS delivery. Pull and inspect run samples and notify Finishing Manager in the event quality standards are not being met.
Adjusts conveyor belt to shingle mail pieces neatly and in order.
Stack containers on a skid and keeps track of total container count.
Move product around using a pallet jack or power dolly, transfer materials to different locations as needed.
Complete paperwork and reports related to job function, report any problems to supervisor.
Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures, making sure work area is hazard free and orderly
Perform other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
