Patriot's Inside Sales Representative is a position accountable for executing the sales and marketing strategy, working with Outside Sales and Agents to build the opportunity pipeline, and delivering revenue and profitability growth for the Electrical Conduit Products Line. The ISR is the face of the company for Electrical Distribution Customers and is responsible for maintaining a positive professional Sales & Service Relationship.
This is a "tip of the spear" position and as such requires a high level of energy, relationship building skills, technical acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Primary Duties:
Develop Relationships with, gain trust, and understand the internal dynamics of Key Distribution Customers and Agencies
Connect with Existing & New/Targeted Customers via all available methods of communication - Outbound Calls, Inbound Calls, Emails, Video Calls, Live Chat, Text, etc.
Utilize NetSuite to process all Transactions - Quotes, Orders, Lead Time Confirmation, etc.
Utilize CRM to Document All Activities, Maintain Detailed Notes & Follow-up Activities, Develop a robust Pipeline of RFQs, and Track Projects
Participate in and Support Local Trade Events as necessary, i.e., Houston Electrical League Events, Counter Days, Patriot Open House, etc.
Maintain Multiple Customer Relationships (100+)
Identify Key Projects utilizing Company Databases and Agency Input, then follow the Project through its full life cycle from Bid to Buy
Work with other Departments as necessary to Resolve Customer & Company Issues, i.e., Operations, Shipping, Outside Sales, Administration, Accounting, etc.
All other duties assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, preferred
Minimum of 3 years combined Inside Sales/Customer Service Experience, or 1 Year Direct Experience in the Electrical Industry
Proactive attitude and quick aptitude for learning new methods, strategies and technologies
Strategic Thinker able to execute tactically and efficiently in a well-organized manner, with strong documentation & CRM Skills
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be comfortable with both in-person and video/audio conferences
Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated, as well as collaborating in a cross-functional team environment spread among multiple locations
