The Digital Marketing Intern works collaboratively as a Marketing team assistant in researching trends, topics, and concept development to grow and strengthen Portage Learning's online presence. The position's primary function is to grow organic and paid traffic by assisting in implementing SEO strategies, paid ad optimization across Google/social media, and analyzing marketing data. This position will play a key role in assisting with campaign development and implementation. Researches and analyzes performance, competition, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in monthly reports using website data and analytics. Stay up to date with algorithm trends and updates through research and professional development. Be an active participant in brainstorming meetings. Engage in weekly professional development sessions as part of the summer internship cohort, cultivating collaboration, strengthening skills, and encouraging continuous learning. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills Required: Knowledge of search engine optimization and algorithms. Familiarity with Google analytics and marketing research data. Familiarity with PPC and social media best practices. Strong written and verbal skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain and increase professional knowledge of the latest trends, practices, programs, and applications evolving in SEO. Qualifications (Education Requirements/Experience): Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, design, or a related field. Successful completion of a background check and current and/or ability to obtain the following clearances: Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting. Highly relational self-starter, detail-orientated, and able to work both independently and closely within a team.
