General Purpose
The Plant Controls Specialist maintains and troubleshoots production equipment from various suppliers. This position identifies and prioritizes controls / electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance within a facility. Position develops and maintains electrical and controls system documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide the proper training in Controls and Electricity to the Maintenance Technicians for the purpose of minimizing the production down time.
Execute small and medium projects involving PLC 5, SLC 500, Controls Logix, Panel View Plus and Allen Bradley VFDs
Maintain industrial networks such as DeviceNet and Remote I/O.
Help the NABU Controls Engineering Group with the installation and maintenance of the SKU Controllers
Provide the proper training in Controls and Electricity to the Maintenance Technicians for the purpose of minimizing the production down time.
Identify and prioritize controls / electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance within a facility.
Plan and execute projects in a manner which minimizes downtime.
Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation.
Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment from various suppliers.
Quickly identify root causes of problems, as mechanical, controls or joint problems and coordinate resources necessary to address them.
Develop control software to achieve the balance between mechanical and controls changes to effectively handle all containers.
Maintain Allen Bradley hardware and software: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Networks and various electrical systems.
Be part of the team that supervises the electrical installation /integration of equipment and controls.
Follow the CCE Controls and Electrical Specifications.
Work with the CCE Controls Engineering Group for the following purposes:
Improve the designs / programs begun by others.
Implement and propose improvements to the CCE Controls and Electrical Specifications.
Suggest which controls projects to be handled by CCE Controls Engineering Group and which by the Plant Controls Specialist.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or minimum 8 years of work experience in industrial environments without college degree
Minimum 10 years of work experience in industrial environments without college degree.
Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote IO, Data Highway Plus, and Ethernet). Experience with various Human Machine Interfaces financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations is a must.
Foundation Skills: Speaking/Presenting - Present complex technical problems in a simple way. Use exception reporting to keep the manager informed.
Collaborating: Work well in cooperation with others to achieve measurable results in time allocated or less.

Position Description: Assist in day-to-day supervised activities related to the development of a construction project to build foundational knowledge in construction management, business and project financial management, project safety protocols, subcontractor relationships, quality control, and project coordination and lifecycle. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities: Depending on business need and location, the Intern/Co-Op will be supervised and assigned to work at an active construction project site, in a department located at a main office working in one of our many construction specialties.
* Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
* Comprehend and follow project site signage and supervisor instructions as directed.
* Provide progress reports to supervisor and be receptive to learning about construction management.
* Relate and apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to work activities.
* Maintain professional relationships with employees, customers, clients, and subcontractors.

* Assist with preparation of estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
* Attend project site visits to observe and document construction field activities.
* Assist with preparation of and conduct correspondence and communication as directed to Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors in connection with performing their assigned trades.
* Assist with communication to Trades and subcontractors to understand and track job schedules.
* Assist with monitoring contractor compliance with Turner's safety program, as directed.
* Assist with preparation of quantity take-offs and studies for project items using either traditional or computer-aided programs, learning and discussing details necessary to complete project.
* Request and distribute subcontractor proposals relative to their scope of work to assemble proposals for delivery system.
* Assist with project close out preparations.
Qualifications:
* Enrolled and actively pursuing college or university accredited degree program or enrolled in a Co-op program, recommended majors include and not limited to Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related field of study, and at minimum 1 year of completed education, and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

SUPERVISION EXERCISED
The Traffic Services Specialist I position exercises no technical oversight or supervision.

IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

SCOPE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Incumbent has responsibility for overseeing all electronically processed items such as cash letters, teller work captured by branch personnel, remote deposit merchant deposits, ATM deposits, mobile capture deposits, and incoming correspondent bank files. Incumbent has face-to-face, telephone, and written contact with bank personnel concerning deposit correction creation when an error has been determined. Incumbent is responsible for providing expedient customer service whether serving internal customers, external customers, or vendors. Incumbent performs various daily activities of Item Processing and debit card production as assigned. Primary contacts are FTS customers, Item Processing supervisor, software vendors, hardware vendors, and branch personnel. In the absence of the supervisor, manager, or assistant manager, it is important that decisions are made within set departmental guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Receive and process all incoming electronic Check21 files, electronic deposits from ATM, merchants, and mobile app deposits, and creating outgoing electronic Check21 files.
* Answer questions and resolve issues from branch employees about teller capture and its processes while working through technical issues with teller capture software.
* Process newly issued or reissued Visa debit cards.
* Process and respond to all incoming methods of communication.
* Adapt to frequent change in the work environment and manage competing demands.
* Must be able to handle frequent deadlines and interact in a positive manner with people.
