Must‑have qualifications
Associate degree (or equivalent experience); Bachelor's in business/health administration preferred.
2+ years in a hospital medical staff services or credentialing role; MSO reappointment experience (3+ years) strongly valued
Hands‑on proficiency with Echo and Axual (or comparable) credentialing platforms.
NAMSS CPCS certification (or commitment to obtain within 1 year of eligibility).
Solid grasp of medical terminology, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and database accuracy/quality control.
Professional, composed communicator who manages multiple deadlines and exercises sound judgment.
Nice to have
Experience supporting a Level I trauma environment and/or Epic exposure.
Prior travel or multi‑site credentialing background.

This position will ensure that individuals who may be eligible for state, federal and local benefits are supported in the process of accessing and making application for benefits. This includes registration, insurance eligibility and enrollment/re-enrollment and access to community-based behavioral health treatment for clients. Support completion and review each application to confirm that the financial statements and other personal information are accurate. Interview the applicants and family members when necessary, and document all your findings that lead to approval or denial of the Medicaid application.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit Medicaid application, respond to any requests for additional information, prepare appeals for SSI/SSDI denials, and provide advocacy throughout the process.
Knowledge of the RI Medicaid Health Care Portal.
Knowledge of different Medicaid products such as QMB and SLMB.
Reviewing Monthly Medicaid report to ensure active Medicaid for Clients.
Assist with SNAP applications.
Screen and assist with all steps of the Medicaid and Charity Care enrollment process.
Ensure timely submission of Medicaid or Charity application based off program guidelines.
Gather, verify, evaluate, and enter necessary social, financial, and medical information into various applications.
Meet (on the phone or in person) with program participants on a monthly basis or more frequently if needed.
Outreach to individuals to determine Medicaid eligibility and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services.
Utilizes tools to estimate patient financial obligations, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance and then meeting with patients to discuss payment options.
Receives and maintains Certified Application Counselor (CAC) certification, if applicable.

Job Summary:
The Patient Representative is the face of the imaging department. The Patient Representative is the face of the imaging department. Key Accountabilities:

We are searching for a talented Patient Access Rep-Rehab
Hours: 24hrs
Shift: Day shift; Mon & Wed 2:15pm - 6:30pm (Truesdale), Tues & Thurs 1:00pm - 6:30pm, Fri 12:00pm - 4:30pm (Swansea)
Location: Swansea Rehabilitation - Swansea, MA; Travel to Fall River clinic as well

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Team Leader, Rehab Operations, perform a variety of office support, coordination of various patient care processes and other related duties in accordance with established Rehabilitation Services department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training, secretarial school, diploma, or medical office certification.
* Duties require knowledge of medical terminology.
* Proficient keyboarding skills are essential.
* Must possess strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
* Proficient in use of software applications such as e-mail, Word, Excel, EHR.
* Exceptional customer service skills are required.
* Over three years of related medical office work experience is required.
* Associates degree preferred.
* CPR certification is required.
* Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range
USD $16.55 - USD $27.78 /Hr.
