What Success Looks Like:
* Perform duties to measure, cut and shear materials for welding and assembly by others. Move material weighing approximately 50# 20 feet onto the machine which is 3 feet high. Using proper methods, form, punch, cope or saw material as necessary.
* Move door or leaf onto table. Use pressure table to properly position clips, or hold part in position by hand. Weld part to secure it, making sure that it is straight and correctly placed, using standard welding practice. Move completed component to designated space. Move door parts weighing approximately 60# five feet to the table, then four feet to material storage area.
* Hang and pack move basement door parts from storage area, then lift them onto the hangers of the conveyer going into the paint booth, keeping up with the speed of the conveyer. Remove basement doors parts from the paint booth hangers and move them to the packing area, keeping up with the speed of the conveyer. Properly align parts in the wrapper, pick up and insert spacers, attach band to the package, and move finished package onto a pallet. Move basement door parts weighing up to 60# approximately four feet, and lift them 3 feet high to attach them to the paint booth conveyer. Lift these same parts off of the conveyer and move them 10 fee to the packing area, then move completed package weighing 200#, three feet to a pallet.
* Actively participate in "5S" procedures as well as all Continuous Improvement efforts
* Perform any and all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
* Follow all safety rules and regulations. Wear all proper PPE as assigned or warranted in the work area.
* Ability to meet productivity and quality control standards for the position.
Your Credentials:
* Any combination equivalent to High School diploma or equivalent.
* Prior production experience preferred.
* Knowledge of math, with the ability to add and subtract whole numbers.
* Use of fixed gauges, direct reading instruments and similar devices; where interpretation is not required.
* Ability to operate MIG welding gun, banding machine, crane and saw.
* Ability to use measuring tape, square, hammer, chisel, wire cutters, ruler, staple gun and other power and hand tools.

Position Summary:
Supervises employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products or to perform other routine tasks such as 5S work within established timing, quality and cost standards.
Job Responsibilities:

Education, Experience & Skills:
B.S. Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years industrial experience in the chemical blending industry required.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Background in ISO-9000.
High level of initiative and responsibility.
Good communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Lean and or six sigma training.
Work Environment
Works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The associate is exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock and trip and slip hazards. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is loud.

The responsibility of this position includes coordination of preventative and corrective maintenance, staffing, 5s activities, and the efficient operation of the SureFire Plus Department. The position will be responsible for the SureFire Plus operation. The additional challenges of this position relate to meeting diversified production schedules within established time, quality and cost standards and to seek new productionproductivity. Scrap reduction, in particular, represents an ongoing challenge requiring coordination among all department personnel.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for overall departmental Safety, Productivity and Quality levels.
Implements and maintains department's organization and visual management system(s) with a high degree of focus on 5s basics.
Participate in the utilization of problem solving tools and techniques to implement sustainable corrective actions.
Track and trend department's Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and take action on negative trends. Lead continuous improvement activities in alignment with KPI trends.
Collectively work with Quality and Engineering on customer issues, root cause anaylsis and sustainable corrective action.

Review and monitor the implementation of engineering changes and improvements to machinery and equipment to maximize departmental capacity, capability, and efficiency and cost effectiveness. This includes good feedback communication to manufacturing engineering's in charge of the projects.
Attends, as necessary, daily, weekly and monthly production meetings with the Production
Manager to set departmental focus and backorder priorities.
Proactively communicate the status of material shortages or delays or capacity limitations to the Production Manager. Initate actions to prevent future reoccurring issues.

Complete daily monitoring and review of gas production and oil inventory on the SCADA system to ensure efficiency, and plan daily activities such as work orders and regular checks, based on the information.
Be responsible and accountable for managing all fluids on assigned route. Ensure oil run tickets are accurate by pulling and reviewing them daily.
Identify non-routine issues and problem wells. Discuss improvements and implement the approved solution in a safe manner.

Provide Protection and Control (P&C) leadership, P&C Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support for Fossil Generation, including:

Direct, develop, and support a staff of P&C technicians and 3rd party resources.
Interface with Fossil Generation plant personnel, Engineering, Power Optimization Center, and 3rd party vendors and contractors.
Provide P&C services to multiple operating regions within Luminant generation
Develop relationships based on trust, accountability, and providing a quality service.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Serves as the primary client contact in providing Protection and Control services, including but not limited to 24x7 emergency support to Generation sites on a wide variety of equipment.
Provides guidance to the plant regarding evaluation of protective relaying systems and metering maintenance, techniques, tools, and standards.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with management, plant and mine site organizations, support personnel, vendors and contractors.
Identifies, qualifies and coordinates industry contacts to supply supplemental P&C services.
Provides training/consultation services on request to Fossil Generation Plant personnel on P&C applications, software, and hardware.
Provides technical, safety, HPI training, counseling, guidance, and technical and administrative direction for the P&C Technicians to establish the strategies, tactics, techniques, and standards pertinent to data acquisition, monitoring, and assessing the condition of power plant relaying and mining systems and equipment.
Establishes priorities, coordinates and schedules P&C resources to provide timely, cost- effective services.
Develops and implements procedures to assist all generating facilities to remain NERC and regional compliance.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
BS in Electrical engineering or related field and 3-5 years of P&C experience or
Associate of Science degree or technical degree in related field such as (Electrical Power and Controls, Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology) and 7-10 years of relevant experience in the P&C field or
10-15 years of related technical experience in P&C and a strong working knowledge of electrical system protection
Must have excellent people skills and self motivated
Proficient with MS Office, and relay related software
Minimum of 2 years of supervision experience preferred
Works with minimal supervision
Annual pay range between $125k-135k depending on skills/experience. This role is also eligible for annual bonus of up to 15%, up to 4% profit sharing, up to 6% dollar-for-dollar match toward the employee's 401k, and medical/dental/vision benefits for the employee and their dependent family members.
