As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team and further strengthen our position in the market.
Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for new business development opportunities as well as managing existing customer accounts. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who can build strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and provide tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales within the integrated materials, plastics and/or molded foam sectors.
This role is based out of our Eau Claire, WI plant and candidates must be currently living in the Eau Claire area or willing to relocate to this area. (No relocation assistance is provided).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting New Lead Generation and managing the existing book of business by researching the web and other databases for new leads; managing and qualifying inbound leads (website, sales email, sales phone); using tools to qualify leads and find first contact for outside sales reps.
Customer Service - Process and communicate customer complaints / issues. Work with the rest of the team to ensure proper resolutions are completed (i.e. credits, replacement material, etc.).
Sample Process - Support the sample process; put together samples / marketing materials, ship samples.
Pricing - responsible for putting together customer price sheets and communication for review. Running the pricing calculator for new customers / new profiles for review.
Quotes - responsible for putting together quotes to support your book of business
Data Management / Reporting - produce weekly reporting; providing the preliminary sales and forecasts for review.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, timely delivery, relay customer feedback and provide superior customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Proven track record of providing excellent customer service while building client relationships.
B2B sales experience within the packaging industry, with integrated materials, plastics and/or molded foam sectors being a big plus.
Strong business acumen with experience in Engineering and/or Packaging is preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel as required.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in Business or relevant work experience required, Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inside B2B sales.
