Position Purpose

Compensation
Zimmermann utilizes the advertised salary range as a benchmark to offer candidates competitive compensation in the market. This approach also allows for flexibility to account for differing levels of experience and to reward both performance and tenure.

Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

This position serves as the on-site lead for SPPS contracted personnel, overseeing daily operations, task management, and administrative support for USCENTCOM J5-Plans. The role includes managing staff, coordinating leadership schedules, maintaining SharePoint and classified networks, and supporting travel, security, and tasker systems. It requires extensive military experience, leadership skills, and proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Serve as the on-site lead for all SPPS contracted personnel.
* Manage task order staff in accordance with PWS requirements and COR guidance.
* Oversee daily operations in support of the Directorate and contract staff.
* Maintain and coordinate short- and long-term calendars, including leadership schedules and battle rhythm events.
* Supervise administrative functions, track personnel task completion, and ensure accurate reporting.
* Prepare, submit, and track contractor travel requests and Additional Work Effort (AWE) submissions.
* Manage records of travel and AWE expenditures.
* Provide facility and administrative support across multiple government locations.
* Administer the J5-Plans Tasker Management Tool (TMT) for USCENTCOM, Joint Staff, and DoD taskings.
* Support reporting requirements, personnel evaluations, supply inventories, and security processes.
* Maintain and update SharePoint sites and organizational file servers on SIPR and JWICS networks.
* Validate staff clearances and manage facility access updates.
* Assist with Defense Travel System (DTS) usage and coordination of travel arrangements.
* Serve as the Lead Scheduler for J5-Plans TSVTCs.
* Coordinate with help desks to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Position Requirements
* Minimum 12 years of military service.
* At least 3 years of experience at a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters.
* 4+ years of SharePoint experience, including 2+ years as a SharePoint Administrator.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
