Coach the Executive Casino Hosts and International Casino Hosts on how to improve their skills, grow their business, and meet their goals
Resolve guest issues when they have to escalate to management
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required Knowledge and Certification:
2-4 year degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
5+ years experience in casino marketing management including supervision
3+ years experience in a related sales and/or customer relations position preferably in the gaming industry
3+ years experience with customer/sales tracking and/or customer relationship management database applications, including reporting and data analysis preferably with player tracking systems
Proven experience in business activation, retention, recovery, reactivation, and managing customer relationships

The Institute for Nonviolence Chicago's mission is to end the cycle of violence using Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s principles and teachings of nonviolence. Informed by a philosophy of nonviolence, Nonviolence Chicago will establish caring and sustained relationships with participants engaged in the cycle of violence. We will emphasize partnerships with community members, leaders, social service providers, and local law enforcement to reduce community levels of violence. We will help create a safer, healthier environment for young adults, youth, and their families. These general approaches will be specifically addressed using for major methods: Community Violence Intervention (CVI) / Street Outreach, Individualized Service Provision, Victim Support Services, and Nonviolence Training.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Associate Director of Workforce Development will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workforce team which provides classroom-based instruction to more than 200 high-risk participants annually across three neighborhoods (Austin, West Garfield Park and Back of the Yards). This position will support curriculum refinement, work closely with the street outreach department to help facilitate seamless referrals, monitor participant progress in order to facilitate job placements/referrals to transitional jobs, and use data to inform program improvements and demonstrate impact. A member of the leadership team, the Associate Director is capable of implementing large-scale projects, is a natural problem solver and is committed to the mission and long-term goals of the organization.
The Associate Director will also support several innovative initiatives and partnerships. This position will play a critical role in the Scaling CVI for a Safer Chicago (SC2) initiative - an unprecedented effort to achieve community-level violence reduction by scaling up CVI services to individuals at highest risk of violence. The position will also serve as the main point of contact a first-of-its-kind partnership between Nonviolence Chicago and Cara Collective, which provides programming onsite at Nonviolence Chicago's Austin office, as well as attend public events and speak on behalf of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Collaboration

Essential functions:
Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of Cleaver-Brooks products within our representative channels. Working to maintain a product sales pipeline and increase win-rate to gain market share within the given market segment.
Develop and manage product P&L strategy for the assigned products.
Work with manufacturing and engineering to ensure market expectations are being met for quality, lead-time, documentation, product features and margin.
Identify and engage key stakeholders at the end user, contractor and engineering levels, providing sales and technical support to specify our products for both replacement and new construction markets.
Conduct technical seminars and 'lunch & learn' sessions at engineering firms to get Cleaver-Brooks products specified.
Provide technical training to internal and external sales and service teams to ensure product acceptance in the market.
Collaborate with the National Sales Managers, strategic account managers and sales teams in preparing quotes, following up on leads, and negotiating contracts to close sales.
Provide virtual and on-site support for boiler system designs, addressing customer complaints or system malfunctions to help quickly resolve customer issues.
Regularly visit established accounts and qualify new accounts, maintaining a strong presence in the assigned region.
Manage customer database effectively, ensuring regular contact with major accounts.
Attend trade shows and other events as required to promote Cleaver-Brooks products and services.
Complete tasks within the budget allocated for travel and entertainment.
Basic Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a preference for experience in the industrial equipment, HVAC or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of the sales process and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Technical knowledge in heating, ventilation, and fluid mechanics is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently; managing priorities effectively.
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
