The HR Generalist will be the first point of contact for 'Tier 1' HR related questions by responding to incoming inquiries and cases related to a variety of common HR processes and procedures. *Additional Responsibilities Include:* * Respond accurately, timely, and consistently to incoming inquiries and change requests within required standards and service level agreements ('SLA's'). * Ensure that correct and concise information is captured in the Service Now case management system to allow for an audit trail and accurate metrics reporting. * Provide tactical on-site support to HR business partners and local business leaders. * Partner with other HR departments to support our Total Health and retirement programs, people review processes, benefits/career fairs, and special projects and initiatives as needed. * Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and optimize the employee and people leader experience. * Provide clear explanations of HR and company policies, procedures, processes, and administration to employees and people leaders. * Coach employees and people leaders through all direct access system activities including SAP, Service Now, and Workday. * Escalate or transition requests to third party vendors or subject matter experts as needed, ensuring a warm handoff and exceptional customer service. * Understand the importance of confidentiality and data integrity, strictly adhering to internal practices to ensure data privacy and compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. * 15%-20% of the role requires jurisdictional site visits. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or 5+ years' equivalent experience). * At least three years of experience in a human resources or people advisory role. * Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. * High level of confidentiality and professionalism. * Intermediate in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong ability to identify issues and offer practical solutions. * Clear, concise, and effective communicator with employees and people leaders. * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. * Strong understanding of legal compliance and HR best practices. * Efficient in managing HR administrative tasks and coordinating various HR functions. * Experience working for a multi-state and/or global organization. *Job Type & Location* This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $107000.00/yr.
