    Job Description Job: Junior - IT Analyst Rate: $33 - $40/hr Contract Type: W2 (Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No C2C, 1099, or visa sponsorships available.) Contract Duration: 1 Year (with possible extensions) Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. 2-3 years' experience in infrastructure services, infrastructure analysis, deployment, and support. Experience working closely with service providers and delegating operational activities. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, trends, and best practices. Strong skills in computers, operating systems, and software (MS Office Suite, MS Project, and other IT applications); ability to learn new technical concepts quickly. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis abilities. Strong collaboration, negotiation, communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. Willingness to travel to client business units or service provider locations as needed. Preferred: Knowledge of Utilities business operations. 2+ years' experience in a support function. Familiarity with ITIL processes and metrics. General working knowledge of the gas and electric utility industry. Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the IT Operations Director or IT Operation Manager(s) to perform routine assignments. Collaborate with IT Service Delivery, IT Support Services, project managers, and other teams to support operations processes, including procurement, spending optimization, and expense management. Assist in driving resolution of operational and service-based issues with service providers. Help prepare for and facilitate regular performance review meetings. Work with project managers and service providers to track and monitor projects against service levels (budget, schedule, quality). Analyze infrastructure services spending patterns for reporting and cost allocation purposes. Support audits and ensure service providers comply with defined standards and contracts. Maintain documentation and ensure information on services is kept up-to-date. Help communicate planned and unplanned outages to impacted stakeholders. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
