Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new customers and business opportunities within existing customer accounts utilizing the full Kelley product suite.
Develop new customer accounts through prospecting (received via direct mail, social media marketing, etc.), cold calling, and networking efforts.
Keep in contact with clients, answer their questions, and deal with complaints promptly.
Predict future market trends and develop new sales ideas. Complete accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
Create proposals and cost justifications.
Maintain CRM (Sales Chain) with an accurate account of prospects and activity to maintain sales funnel to achieve sales quota.
Complete customer surveys and current application assessments.
Engage support teams (DocuWare, Mailing, IT) to assist as needed.
Prepare sales presentations and product demonstrations and present solutions to C-level contact and appropriate staff.
Complete necessary paperwork for financing and equipment orders.
Work closely with administrative, service team, and delivery coordinator to successfully complete orders, schedule installation, and meet all customer needs.
Participate in open house and networking events.
Attend manufacturer training and maintain a working knowledge of the product suite.
Train new users in equipment as needed.
Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience :
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college; or 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Business-to-business sales experience preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The incumbent must read and respond to documents in hard copy and electronic form. Ability to speak effectively before customers, employees, vendors, and association members.
Math Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:

What You'll Do
As a Sales Representative:
Connect with local business owners in a true business-to-business sales environment to understand their needs and build genuine, trust-based relationships

As a Field Trainer:

The successful candidate must maintain a willingness to learn and adapt to the constant changes of the construction industry and the evolving needs of multiple markets.
This territory will include the areas of Yakima, WA; Leavenworth, WA; and Grand Coulee, WA
* 2 years sales or account management experience preferred OR 5 years of construction management experience
* Associate or bachelor's degree in business, construction, or project management preferred
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining an accurate and organized sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics CRM
* Minimal overnight travel required beyond initial training and onboarding period
* Ability to develop and maintain an adequate sales funnel to sell at or above established sales budgets
* Aptitude to grow existing market share and be readily available during construction relative work hours
* Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project including MBI personnel, hire and manage subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements
* Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
* Displays excellent verbal and written communication along with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
* Must reside within 30 miles of assigned territory within 30 days of hire date
Our SalesConsultants are provided with a company car, laptop and cell phone in order to successfully navigate the needs of their assigned territory.
Starting annual pay range of $65,000 to $85,000. The SalesConsultant pay plan includes a base salary, training subsidy, and commission. This pay range applies to incoming salesconsultants. Earnings expand year over year as consultants build experience, grow their portfolios, and benefit from annual increases.
