Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager of Technology Transfer & New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead a cross-functional team of engineers responsible for transferring new product development (NPD) projects into production and commercialization. This role is pivotal in bridging R&D and Operations to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective launches of Class II medical devices, with a focus on enteral feeding devices and related products.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical device product development, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance, with proven leadership in scaling NPD into robust, commercial-ready products.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers specializing in manufacturing, process, and sustaining engineering.

Work closely with Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to establish robust production capability and supply readiness.
Coordinate with Product Management to align launch readiness with business objectives.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable medical device technical and quality standards.
Support design control, process validation, risk management, and regulatory submissions.
Maintain thorough documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory filings.
Operational Excellence
Drive continuous improvement in NPI processes, including design transfer frameworks, stage-gate reviews, and launch readiness.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and KPIs to ensure successful commercialization.
Introduce best practices and tools for design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and lean manufacturing.
Your qualifications
Required:
B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical).
10+ years in medical device development and manufacturing.
Direct team leadership experience.
Proven track record of successfully transferring Class II medical devices into production and launching commercially.
Experience working in medical device manufacturing environment.
Deep knowledge of design transfer, process validation, and medical device manufacturing.
Skilled in project management, stage-gate processes, and cross-functional team leadership.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:

Salary Range:

We are seeking Senior Project Managers with 10+ years of commercial / industrial/ healthcare construction experience to join in our success.
Applicants in our core areas of expertise including healthcare, transportation, industrial and financial institutions will be considered a plus, along with proven pre-construction experience with design-build and CMAR delivery methods.
What you'll do:
Be responsible for the overall direction, technical management, completion and profitable financial outcome of multiple construction projects.
Project assignments may vary from directing one large complex project to directing several small to medium size projects through subordinate managers.
On new projects and business development opportunities, provide administration and technical management from bid/proposal preparation through final acceptance by the client.

Successful candidate must be an efficient, organized, multi-tasking and positive-minded team player; must have critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills and be able to make decisions with tight deadlines; have the ability to organize, plan, execute, follow-up, and manage multiple activities to reach desired result.
Candidates must be committed to delivering the highest quality product possible, constantly evaluating processes that affect the project and making needed changes using knowledge, customer input, and commitment to exceed client expectations.
Working knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, P6, & project management systems such as Procore.
Ability to prepare complex proposals and estimates with minimum supervision with profit/loss responsibility.
Excellent reputation for completing projects on time and within budget, with minimum supervision.
Aggressively lead on-site safety and quality control procedures and policies.
Stellar reputation of following contract and company change order management procedures and negotiating change orders with owners and architects.
Proven leadership skills, strong work ethic, and highest integrity working with project team and clients.
Strong computer skills, MS Project and Procore (or other web-based project management software) are a plus.
The successful candidate will have a 4 year degree, preferably in Building Sciences, Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant focus on healthcare facility construction (e.g., hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings).
Proven track record of successfully managing complex healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Strong knowledge of healthcare facility requirements, codes, standards, and regulatory processes in Florida.
Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera).
Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:
Develop bidding strategies and contract compliance. Review all project subcontracts and purchase orders for project completion.
Participate in Design Development providing the necessary liaison, when required, between the preconstruction department and the owner.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
Plan, organize, and staff key field office or management positions, in conjunction with Project Executive or Chief Operations Officer.

Identify new work opportunities and inform Business Development and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
Actively leads internal team(s) that focus on continuous improvement of the business.
Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
Develop, maintain, and enforce a project site logistics plan and temporary facilities plan.
Develop, review, approve, and implement project budgets, schedules, and contract bid documents.
Conduct or assist Director of Preconstruction with buy-out meeting and prepare subcontracts.
Coordinate and provide direction for the budget estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting cost, and construction functions as they relate to the completion of the project.
Negotiate, prepare, issue and execute change orders (proposals) to owners, design team, subcontractors and others, and prepare revisions to original budget as a result of changes and revisions to work.
Prepare and issue monthly owner progress reports, monthly pay applications, schedules, and cost reports in coordination with the Lead Superintendent.
Qualifications
Education:
Four (4) year degree in an accredited construction related curriculum (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
At least five (5) to eight (8) years' experience as a Project Manager or at least fifteen (15) years of construction-related experience, experience with a General Contractor preferred
Experience leading teams
Demonstrated mastery in the skills of project management.
Demonstrated mastery in these areas: estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
Demonstrated success in managing or potential to manage large, single construction projects/phases and multiple team members.
Must have strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to train others and monitor their work for quality and completeness.

Preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following markets: Data Centers, Commercial & Industrial, Renewable Energy, Residential
Site Development for Private customers - experienced strongly preferred
Proven ability to assist with all responsibilities for large site projects
Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple projects
Possess a basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
