    CDM Smith is seeking a Geospatial Technology Leader to join our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This individual will lead the Geospatial Technology group within the Digital Engineering Solutions team, helping to drive strategic architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) initiatives through advances in GIS and mapping technologies, reality capture, remote sensing, the internet of things (IoT)/sensors, and custom solutions and workflows for AEC professionals. The Geospatial Technology group will lead the firm in best practices for these types of technologies, helping to set the CDM Smith Way for our AEC design, planning, and construction practices, while also keeping the firm ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies in this space, including the geospatial technology elements of digital twins. This position is for a person who has demonstrated leadership capabilities, is business savvy, experienced with geospatial technologies for the AEC industry, and enjoys framing a problem, shaping and creating solutions, and helping to lead and champion implementation. As a member of the Digital Engineering Solutions team, the Geospatial Technology group will also engage in research and development and provide guidance and oversight to the AEC practices at CDM Smith, engaging in new product research, testing, and the incubation of innovative ideas that arise from around the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven record as a team leader and expert in the field of AEC geospatial technology, with a mindset of continuous learning and curiosity leading to tangible results. - Lead, monitor, supervise, and evaluate the Geospatial Technology group.
