Responsibilities
Provides inbound phone, web, or email software support to resolve client inquiries and problems that are easily solved.
Analyzes data reports, forms, and web technologies commensurate with level of training and understanding.
Determines whether to resolve issues personally or to refer to a more experienced team member.
Responsibly communicates to all parties involved in issue resolution to meet and manage client expectations.
Uses Tyler's client management system to create, track, and/or update details on the specifics of client issue(s).
May submit client issues to the development team for resolution as needed.
May create or enhance documentation throughout the support process.
Commits to expanding technological skills and knowledge of Tyler products.

Communicate with customers by phone, virtually, via email or mail, and in person, with a focus on delivering service and adding value to the customer relationship. Gain an understanding of each customer's needs and concerns; provide recommendations to assist them.
Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing and finalizing sales proposals and relationship review documents for both new and existing customers. Gather and analyze information on current customer relationships across multiple bank platforms. Collaborate with various departments to develop proposal materials and incorporate resources from external sources as needed.
Customer service and retention: Ensure the Bank maintains strong and positive relationships with its business deposit and CM account customers. Act as the primary resource to customers for all their business deposit and CM account questions, concerns, or needs.
Other Business Account Management duties: Coordinate merchant processing services through the banks third party vendor (currently BASYS Processing), provide support to both customers and the vendor, and make referrals as appropriate.
Support Bank products/services: Maintain knowledge of current KSB products and services. Actively utilize as many Bank products and services as possible to fully understand their features and benefits and to be able to communicate effectively with customers and prospective customers.
Talk to customers and listen for “cues and clues” to determine needs; respond to customer inquiries and evaluate their needs; suggest Bank products/services to customers to meet their needs or make referrals to other Bank personnel as appropriate.
Community/public relations: participate in community organizations and events. Represent the Bank in the community.

7. Work as a member of the YPSSN team in facilitating workshops and coordinating

What you will do as a Personal Support Specialist:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)
Respond to resident call lights promptly
Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned
Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.

Your Mission: Mentor, Leader, and Co-Learner
This role offers two distinct opportunities to lead with your lived experience:
1. Your core mission is to act as a co-learner and mentor, leading one-on-one and group sessions rooted in the principles of mutuality.
Instill Hope: Share personal recovery experiences and the wisdom of stability to reduce stigma and model effective, sustainable coping strategies.
Build Networks: Help clients identify personal strengths, develop their own goals, and build robust natural support systems.
Resource Navigator: Assist clients in overcoming barriers like housing, employment, and social isolation by facilitating connections with vital community resources.

Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
Personal experience with mental health services and substance use recovery, with openness to selfdisclose in peer and community settings.
Completion or commitment to complete the State of Maine Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) Certification, including provisional certification within 9 months of hire and ongoing maintenance.
Participation in training for compliance with state licensing, CMS regulations, and agency requirements.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office, and Outlook email.
Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse groups, including consumers, family members, caregivers, and resource providers.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including occasional evenings.
Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, demonstrating independence and collaborative skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
The Peer Support Specialist position is dynamic, requiring both mental agility and a moderate level of physical fitness. This role demands the ability to effectively navigate diverse environments where clients reside and receive services, with a consistent emphasis on safety and client care.
Candidates should be prepared for physical activities including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Regular visits to clients' homes, often in older buildings without elevators, may require climbing stairs and moving through tight spaces. Additionally, frequent lifting and carrying of items such as folders, electronics, and other materials for client visits and service coordination is necessary, with some items weighing up to 25 pounds. Regular typing and handling of client materials are essential, necessitating fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
The role also requires acute perceptiveness to be responsive to environmental cues during client interactions and while navigating various settings. Effective communication skills are paramount, both in person and through electronic means, to liaise with clients and service providers.
Travel is a significant aspect of this role, as community engagement and meeting clients in various settings are vital for our support and the success of our program. Peer Support Specialists are required to travel to meetings, training sessions, and client locations. This entails holding a valid driver's license with a good record and being comfortable driving in all New England weather conditions, including snow, ice, rain, or fog. Candidates must be prepared to work in the region's unpredictable weather, facing extreme cold, snow, ice in the winter, and heat with humidity in the summer.
