Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under general supervision of the Mental Health Supervisor III (State Facility and Forensic Intensive Case Management), provides service as a jail diversion specialist in this Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment Team with a special population focus on persons referred by Law Enforcement Agencies or the County of Saginaw Jail who may be in need of intensive mental health services as an alternative to incarceration, as either pre-booking or post-booking diversion. Works as a member of a multi-departmental group with Pre-Admission Screening, Care Management and State Facility and Forensic Intensive Case Management units with shared performance goals related to access, customer satisfaction and risk management. Functions as a liaison to the Saginaw County Mental Health Court. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery based practices; person centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals; and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumer in the recovery process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Functions as a liaison and acts as a champion to the Saginaw County Mental Health Court.
2. Provides intensive individual counseling services and crisis stabilization care.
3. Screens, assesses and diagnosis consumers referred for services. Interviews consumer/family and others as appropriate to obtain background history. Uses the ASI (Addiction Severity Index), MAST (Michigan Alcoholism Screening Test), LOCUS, and other assessment tools requiring knowledge of severe mental illness and substance abuse. Conducts and documents full mental status exam.
4. Provides person centered planning in the context of jail diversion: working with the consumer, primary care givers and law enforcement agencies, the courts, the prosecutor, and probation services to facilitate a plan in which the consumer can successfully abstain from behaviors, symptoms and circumstances which put them at risk of re-arrest, violation of probation orders or re-incarceration.
5. Participates as a member of the Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment Team serving persons with serious mental illness and substance use disorders in a team context. May be assigned as case manager or therapist for persons who are at risk of incarceration, re-incarceration or who are on a court ordered pre-trial diversion plan. Works collaboratively with mental health and correction agencies to provide short term intensive monitoring of jail diversion plans.
6. May provide daily consumer contact and monitoring of supervision in residential or community settings. May coordinate with psychiatric inpatient care and post discharge planning to resume jail diversion plan. Consults with corrections and law enforcement when consumer is at risk of non-compliance with agreed upon plan and may require additional correctional interventions. Prepares written reports to probation, parole or the Court as required.
7. May transport consumers to appointments or other treatment sites. Provides outreach services to consumers who need to be contacted at their home or other community settings including: jail, hospitals, homeless shelters.
8. Coordinates support for and works with self help groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, or Cocaine Anonymous. Works with individuals in recovery as coworkers or volunteers.
9. Incorporates substance abuse and mental health recovery principles in all aspects of services provided.
10. Maintains a positive treatment environment which promotes motivation, positive self regard in consumers and dignity and respect with other agencies or individuals with whom the client may interact.
11. Coordinates inter-program service delivery in a crisis stabilization plan. Other services might include: ACT, Clubhouse, Community Support Services (Client Services Management, Psychiatry, Nursing and Supports Coordination).
12. Prepares required documentation, summaries and notes reflecting specific goals and objectives in the electronic medical record. Maintains documentation of jail diversion activities in the electronic medical record and other formats as required for reporting to MDCH. Reports in a timely and accurate manner all services provided.
13. Works with faith based and similar community groups to create and expand natural support system for individuals diverted from incarceration.
14. Maintains tracking database for individuals diverted and provides reports to SCCMHA Quality Committees, to courts and law enforcement groups as requested.
15. Monitors court ordered diversion plans for consumer and provider compliance.
16. May provide community training to law enforcement or other groups to ensure effective interface between corrections and mental health systems.

Provide housing and employment case management to veteran households who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness
Design a Housing Stability Plan with each program participant, and monitor monthly progress of participant's stated goals through ongoing case management meetings, including an Individual Employment Plan.
Work with households to identify potential eligibility for mainstream resource benefits (e.g. VA Benefits, Social Security, Medicaid, etc.) and assist in program enrollment.
Conduct data collection via the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and FACSPro.
Complete or collect all required program documentation with accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with service providers, landlords and participants.
Conduct housing searches with participants to assist in locating, obtaining and retaining housing.
Perform housing inspections on all potential rental units.
Participate in personal and professional development activities, including staff meetings, conferences, training opportunities, as identified and approved by supervisors.
Travel throughout service area as needed.
Overnight travel may be required for trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services
Experience in human services, specifically with homeless populations, preferred.
Veteran preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Must obtain HMIS license within 30 days of hire.
Must obtain HQS certification within 1 year of hire.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or other form.
Must have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Internet)
Demonstrated communication skills both oral and written.
Must be highly organized and people oriented.
Successful clearance of DHHS Central Registry and criminal history record check.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, provide proof of insurance, and pass MMCAA's “Insurance Carriers” driving record review/motor vehicle check.
Must comply with Agency smoke free and drug free policies.
Understand the importance of daily work attendance.

doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

General Statement:
Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs responsible tasks in providing comprehensive services to Genesee Health System (GHS) consumers. In addition to DBT specific services, may also assist with housing, entitlements, skill building, and ongoing peer support; responsible for significant liaison and consultation with family, agencies, guardians, and natural support systems. Provides activities in partnership with consumers for the specific purpose of achieving recovery, including increased community integration, independence and productivity; performs related work as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write, AND current or previous recipient of verifiable mental health or substance use disorder (if substance use disorder, must attest to remission or recovery with no abuse for at least one (1) year). If in current services, must have achieved a level of recovery consistent with performance of the job duties AND must have six (6) months experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment and skills taught in the model (either as a consumer of DBT or as a Peer Support Specialist in a DBT program)
Must have achieved Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) status through the Michigan Department of Community Health's certification program. Will consider a candidate eligible for the CPSS training/examination. A candidate without the CPSS must take and pass the exam within twelve (12) months of hire to retain employment in this position.
Additional Requirements:
Must have a valid Michigan driver's license, current insurance and the use of a vehicle during program hours. Must be willing to work weekend, holidays and irregular hours. Ability to physically perform the tasks.
Preferences:
One (1) year post-completion of DBT treatment.
Computer knowledge and data input ability.
Two years of college, or work experience with the DBT target population (persons with multiple disabilities including borderline personality disorder).
