Summit Reconstruction is seeking an experienced Business DevelopmentManager with a strong background in multifamily construction and restoration to drive project wins and revenue growth across the Portland/Vancouver market. This role is focused on closing large projects, expanding strategic relationships, and positioning Summit as a preferred partner within the multifamily community.
This is not a lead-generation role. We are looking for a proven seller who consistently turns relationships into signed contracts and awarded projects.
Position Overview
The Business DevelopmentManager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning large multifamily restoration and rehabilitation projects, while strengthening Summit's presence and reputation within key industry organizations. This role requires deep relationship management, disciplined sales execution, and daily CRM-driven activity.
The ideal candidate is highly connected within the multifamily industry, actively involved in associations and committees, and comfortable leading client interviews, presentations, and negotiations for complex projects. This role is more than business development. It is a senior leadership opportunity with the ability to participate in executive leadership and help shape the strategic vision of the company as it continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Drive new revenue through project wins, not just lead generation
Identify and pursue multifamily restoration, rehab, and exterior envelope opportunities
Lead proposal development, bid packages, and interview presentations
Negotiate contracts and close large-scale projects
Maintain a consistent sales cadence of 80-125 client touches per week
Use CRM software daily to track activity, leads, follow-ups, and pipeline health
Multifamily Industry Engagement
Actively participate in multifamily associations, boards, and committees
Attend and represent Summit at:
CAI, MFNW, OWCAM, BOMA monthly luncheons
Annual tradeshows, reverse tradeshows (6-8/year)
Industry golf tournaments, networking events, dinners, and happy hours
Chair or participate in committees where possible to strengthen influence and visibility
Client Relations & Presentations
Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, owners, and stakeholders
Conduct job walks, OAC meetings, and project interviews
Present Summit's services at tradeshows and client meetings
Handle escalated client concerns professionally and effectively
Leadership & Internal Support
Meet weekly with team members to review progress and challenges
Support production meetings and contract execution when leadership is unavailable
Assist with commission requests and special projects as needed
Marketing & Brand Support
Coordinate client events and relationship-building activities
Support social media, marketing materials, and client-facing content
Maintain a strong, professional presence for Summit in the marketplace
Qualifications
8 - 10+ years of progressive business development experience in construction and/or multifamily restoration
Proven track record of closing large projects and winning contracts
Strong existing network within the multifamily industry
Active participation or leadership in industry associations, boards, or committees
Daily experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, Sage, Procore, or similar)
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage a structured sales cadence and measurable activity goals
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

POSITION OVERVIEW
CASA is seeking a motivated, talented, and collaborative individual. While some candidates may not have all the relevant experience, candidates who are open and enthusiastic to learning on the job will be considered. The Real Estate Development Program Manager is responsible for the development of multi-family housing, single-family housing and community facility projects for CASA and helps determine the course of CASA's development program. The Real Estate Development Program Manager also directs and facilitates activities from predevelopment through lease-up.
RESPONSIBILITES
Identifies and works with project sponsors (housing authorities, nonprofit organizations, growers, local governments) and/or homeowners to effectively develop multi-family, single-family and community facility projects;
Perform outreach to communities regarding farm-worker and affordable housing issues and development processes
Analyzes feasibility of proposed projects in various markets; prepares market studies when necessary
Inventories and selects project sites; obtains necessary land use and environmental approvals;
Assembles and manages the development team, including project sponsor, architect, builder, property manager, lenders, and investors; authorizes contract terms;
Prepares and revises development and operating budgets;
Secures and administers project financing (include local, state and federal grants, conventional and subsidized loans, state and federal tax credits, private foundations and trusts, tax exemptions and in-kind donations);
Reviews documents, including design, construction agreements, and finance documents;
Oversees construction; attends inspections; prepares draw requests and change orders;
Prepares and/or oversees preparation of property management documents.
Develops and oversees project timelines; files required reports;
Conduct surveys for farmworkers in potential project areas;
Coordinates and convenes conference;
Coordinate work and projects with housing specialists;
Assist other CASA departments (ie: procuring funding); and
Assists co-workers, as needed, coordinate project schedules, as needed, with other projects; assists with general operations of the office, engages in fundraising activities for the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BA/BS in planning, construction sciences, business, architecture or related field is preferred.

Experience working with low-income individuals, brokers, real estate investors, local sponsors, community representatives, lenders, and other involved in the development process;

Position Summary
As a part of the School of Music and Dance fundraising team and reporting to the Associate Director of Development of Oregon Bach Festival, the Development Program Manager is responsible for managing a variety of complex fundraising matters, such as donor and sponsor giving programs, donor acknowledgments and stewardship, member and foundation solicitations, and special events. Stewardship of donors is integral to the fundraising process and is often key to OBF's ability to secure additional funds from donors. This position will have volunteer management responsibility and advisory board duties as assigned. The program manager will work directly with members, annual donors, foundations, local, state, and federal grants agencies, and corporate sponsors, providing an important link between the University, OBF, and its donors.
The Program Manager takes an active role in the OBF development program, including direct mail and in-person solicitations, program administration, and special events. Projects will often require coordination with the Associate Director of Development, Festival staff, student workers, and other units on the UO campus. This position supervises student interns and may supervise a volunteer coordinator.
This position occasionally works outside of regular business hours to manage and attend events, including some nights and weekends. OBF has multiple events that are outside the city limits, and therefore, this work requires the ability to travel to sites not regularly served by public transportation. The Program Manager is expected to be available for all Festival events; there are multiple events during the Festival from late June through mid-July, with a few events occurring during other times of the year.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• One year of professional experience in developmentor fundraising OR two years of experience in closely related fields such as corporate sales.
A graduate degree may be considered in lieu of one year of professional experience. Part-time and student work experience will be counted towards the above experience requirements at a discounted rate.

POSITION OVERVIEW
ELSO is seeking a mission-driven Director of Development to join the organization at a pivotal stage of growth. This senior leadership role is responsible for advancing ELSO's fundraising strategy during a critical period that includes a multi-year capital campaign, ELSO's 10-Year Anniversary Jubilee, and deeper engagement with the National Advisory Council.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position serves as a strategic partner to Executive Leadership and holds primary accountability for achieving annual and long-term fundraising and fund development goals. The Director of Development leads ELSO's fundraising strategy, manages key donor relationships, and cultivates a strong culture of philanthropy across staff, board, and community.
In addition, this role carries an Oregon Site Director designation, providing on-the-ground leadership for ELSO's Portland-based team. The Site Director ensures consistency, professionalism, and alignment with organizational values when Executive Leadership is not physically present, without altering existing programmatic or operational reporting structures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Strategic Fundraising Leadership
Responsible for oversight of Philanthropy & Engagement department including the communications strategy and plan, and fund development strategy and fundraising plan
Lead the development and execution of ELSO's annual and long-term fundraising strategy in partnership with the Executive Director
Play a central leadership role in planning and advancing ELSO's capital campaign
Hold primary accountability for meeting or exceeding annual fundraising goals across individual, corporate, campaign, and event-based giving

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
