JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, support marketing campaign planning and execution; write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral; assist in creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels; participate in marketing brainstorming sessions; assist with planning and execution of internal and external bank events; and measure and report results of various marketing initiatives. Work in conjunction with CRBT's Vice President of Marketing and other CRBT staff including bank president and department managers. Collaborate with other interns on a group project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment

* Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn)

Marketing & Ag Education Summer Intern
Email marketing specialist job in Pipestone, MN
OBJECTIVE: Assist in the planning, execution, and promotion of Pipestone's agriculture education initiatives. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to support various marketing and public relations projects while participating in a company-wide intern program designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Pipestone and the pork industry. The intern will receive mentorship from the marketing team, with a focus on developing professional skills and building a strong portfolio.
Internship will take place between May-August 2026.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)
Assist in the planning, programming, and execution of Ag Education efforts, including the Pipestone Discovery Barn and local county fairs.
Develop and design educational and promotional materials using graphic design tools (Canva and Adobe Creative Suites).
Support public relations efforts by contributing to the development and completion of projects.
Manage and update social media platforms with engaging and relevant content.
Collaborate with the marketing team on projects that include social media, graphic design, and event support.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
INTERN PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
As part of the Pipestone Summer Internship Program, you will have the unique opportunity to learn about the pig business and Pipestone from a wide range of perspectives. You will interact with fellow interns from different departments and gain a comprehensive understanding of the pork industry through scheduled on-site farm tours and speaker sessions with company leaders. This program is designed to provide you with valuable industry knowledge and a strong professional network.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college program with a focus in Communications, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
Experience:
Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation skills required.
Experience in developing and designing materials for educational or promotional purposes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proficiency in graphic design, with a preference in Adobe Creative Suites and Canva.
Adaptable and positive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment:
Primary location is Pipestone, MN, with regional travel required for events and fairs.
Must be willing to attend early morning or evening meetings as needed.
Some overnight travel may be required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Standing and moving for extended periods during events.
Additional Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Preference given to candidates willing to work through August 11.
