Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager of Technology Transfer & New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead a cross-functional team of engineers responsible for transferring new product development (NPD) projects into production and commercialization. This role is pivotal in bridging R&D and Operations to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective launches of Class II medical devices, with a focus on enteral feeding devices and related products.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical device product development, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance, with proven leadership in scaling NPD into robust, commercial-ready products.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers specializing in manufacturing, process, and sustaining engineering.

Technology Transfer & NPI Execution

Lead the development and qualification of manufacturing processes, test methods, and equipment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with R&D to ensure smooth handoff of design intent and documentation.
Work closely with Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to establish robust production capability and supply readiness.
Coordinate with Product Management to align launch readiness with business objectives.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable medical device technical and quality standards.
Support design control, process validation, risk management, and regulatory submissions.
Maintain thorough documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory filings.
Operational Excellence
Drive continuous improvement in NPI processes, including design transfer frameworks, stage-gate reviews, and launch readiness.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and KPIs to ensure successful commercialization.
Introduce best practices and tools for design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and lean manufacturing.
Your qualifications
Required:
B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical).
10+ years in medical device development and manufacturing.
Direct team leadership experience.
Proven track record of successfully transferring Class II medical devices into production and launching commercially.
Experience working in medical device manufacturing environment.
Deep knowledge of design transfer, process validation, and medical device manufacturing.
Skilled in project management, stage-gate processes, and cross-functional team leadership.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this role begins at $144,000.00 in our lowest cost US region and goes up to $188,000.00 in our highest cost US region. Your recruiting contact can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

Technical Proficiencies

Job Description:
• Provide technical support handling inbound and outbound calls, managing Outlook Email queues, and inputting data to an Incident Management Queue in a Call Center environment.
• Monitor alarm conditions, analyze, and troubleshoot network to proactively identify and minimize disruption and impact to the FAA network.
• Use software tools and procedures, check availability and assign field technicians to jobs.
• Maintain Field Technician incidents tickets (submit new incidents, keep existing incidents updated and accurate, help technicians resolve incidents).

Overview: Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network and converged voice systems to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant operations supporting enterprise and EMS environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and support network/voice hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, VPNs).
• Monitor network performance (latency, bandwidth, device health) using tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, and Wireshark.
• Troubleshoot user, device, and EMS connectivity issues; perform root-cause analysis and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation: configurations, topology diagrams, inventories, IP schemas, and change records.
• Support network design, upgrades, HA architectures, and secure configuration standards.
• Assist with firewall rule management, access control, port-security, and VPN configurations.
• Perform CIP activities for all network devices patching cycles, baseline configuration reviews, and CIP-compliant change management.
• Provide documentation and support for SERC/NERC audits and compliance reviews.
• Participate in redundancy testing, disaster recovery planning, and MIRT incident response.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, operations, and application teams on projects and incident resolution.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through internal training.
