Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Responsible for training employees in the proper techniques of using chemicals. Ensures sure all applicable cleaning supplies are labeled properly and ensures chemical bottles have proper chemical labels. Keep all areas clean & sanitized as directed. Responsible for the supervision and coordination of EVS staff activities throughout the corporation ensuring approved standards of cleanliness are displayed. Make recommendations and suggestions to hire, promote, evaluate, reward, and discipline of all EVS employees. Assists in the selecting, training, scheduling, and evaluating of staff. Responsible for advising management of repairs and replacements necessary in assigned areas and is accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of the public areas, restrooms, and offices. Interacts with guests and other departments in a professional and courteous manner. Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record and attendance of all mandatory training and/or meetings. Responds quickly to issues, concerns, or requests and resolves them in a timely manner.
