POSITION SUMMARY
ITS has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Parcel in our Sparks, NV location. This position reports to the President of Distribution & Fulfillment Services and is responsible for the continued development, strategy and ongoing execution of ITS' small parcel revenue channel. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop, implement, and execute a strategic vision for the Parcel division that parallels or exceeds ITS' other service offerings.
- Lead all areas of parcel execution - to include sales goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams, innovation, labor, technology, and strategic decisions.
- Accountable for Parcel P&L.
- Lead the organization in parcel carrier diversification and optimization - to include alternative, national, and niche carrier management, zone skipping strategy, and spend allocation.
- Drive strategic technology advancement across the division in all aspects - to include customer facing technologies, back-office automation, and carrier monitoring.
- Develop sales growth plans by adding new sales opportunities while developing incremental sales growth through existing customers in ITS' other service lines.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships and provide recommendations on parcel solutions for our customers: product tracking, rerouting, costing and usage alternatives to increase business share.
- Continually improve small parcel carrier partnerships.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate vendor performance monitoring, continuous improvement, and driving innovative outcomes.
- Lead sourcing activities via RFPs to identify and qualify new or reduced-cost supply sources as required by category strategies.
- Establish, manage, and measure to a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment in being part of building a successful small parcel service line with a focus on customer service and growth, best-in-class claims management, superior technology and carrier relationships.
Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business or a related degree preferred, but not required.

The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):
$92,359.68 - $133,409.90 per year
The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus.
