Overview
Plan and manage the Human Resources and Operations of the Food and Beverage divisions to achieve customer (guest, associates, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct day to day operations for all restaurant outlets, room service, culinary, stewarding, beverage, banquet, and purchasing operations.
Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
Market the Food and Beverage outlets; develop and manage the implementation of menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations, and presentations within corporate guidelines to capture more in house guests and a larger share of the local market to meet/exceed sales and financial goals and objectives.
Develop, implement, and manage the department's business/marketing plan and budget; continually analyze, forecast, monitor and control the labor and food costs through various methods to meet/exceed management/budget objectives.
Manage the maintenance/sanitation of the Food and Beverage areas and equipment in the hotel to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service.
Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with the SOPs and LSOPs; to include safety and sanitary regulations, all federal, state, franchise, and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guest.
Execute and promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
Hotel experience preferred.
Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession. This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management.
Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Job Summary:

Day-to-Day:
* Maintain exceptional member relations and facilities by creating a high-quality environment through staffing, programming, service operations, and maintenance.
* Identify and implement opportunities for member events and food and beverage services to meet ongoing member needs and achieve revenue objectives.
* Communicate with members both individually and in groups to ensure the club consistently exceeds their expectations.
* Work with the member committees to develop and implement member activities and events that enhance member engagement.
* Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests as needed.
* Develop aggressive sales, marketing, and net revenue plans for food & beverage, and oversee their successful implementation according to Invited budgeting and revenue guidelines.

* Oversee scheduling of all service personnel, manage labor cost budgeting, and ensure accurate time reporting through time management systems. Ensure accuracy in hours worked and adherence to policies and procedures outlined in the Time Management Policy.
* Ensure service recovery programs are effectively implemented, with staff trained to handle Member concerns.
* Recruit, hire, and develop qualified staff committed to service excellence, understanding the relationships between Member satisfaction, value, and retention.
* Create an excellent work environment, focused on teamwork, mutual respect, and Member satisfaction while achieving the 3-steps of service and revenue objectives.
* Develop employees for career advancement using performance reviews, cross-training, and developmental planning.

* Continuously monitor service operations, ensuring all aspects of the F&B department align with the club's standards and goals.
* Oversee the food and beverage aspects in Private Events, attending BEO meetings, determining product and staffing needs, and ensuring smooth operations.
About You
Required
* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* A minimum of 5 years in Club management or related role within the Food & Beverage industry.
Preferred
* Bachelor's degree.
* Preferred certifications include Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, ABC Certification, and CPR Certification.
* Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar operations, with the ability to make financial decisions. Mistakes in expense allocation could significantly impact departmental profit and loss.
* Strong experience handling highly confidential material such as member and employee data.
* Knowledgeable in Service Training and Alcohol Management.
* Proficient in computer skills, including spreadsheet software, with strong communication abilities and demonstrated leadership skills.

Understand how to react to issues impacting the restaurant's profit & loss (P&L) to optimize sales and profit, such as analyzing COGS and taking corrective action if necessary, maintaining inventory, projecting restaurant demand changes throughout the year and adjusting labor accordingly, ensuring that cash control/security procedures are followed, and understanding the P&L implications of workers' compensation claims.
Assist the GM with developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks and frequency of Fan visits.
Fan Service
Ensure that Fan service in all areas meets or exceeds company standards.
Establish standards for the management team and crew to handle customer concerns.
Ensure that customer complaints are promptly and appropriately addressed to resolve the problem and ensure that each dissatisfied customer becomes a return Fan.
Understand the importance of speed of service and resolve bottlenecks in work flow.
Build relationships with return or preferred patrons.
Team Member Leadership
Accomplish store objectives by assisting the GM with hiring, training, coaching and developing shift leads and crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.

Role model and enforce policies and procedures.

Assist the GM with ensuring that Food Safety is the top training priority in store operations. Ensure that proper hand washing, product rotation procedures, and temperature logging are visible and active behaviors. Role model and enforce safe food handling practices.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations and maintaining security systems or routines.
Understands how to react in the event of an emergency such as a workers compensation accident, a robbery, etc.
Store Marketing
Bring useful ideas to management about how to attract new Fans and increase restaurant sales through marketing promotions and activities.
May assist the GM in some assigned aspects of local store marketing activities and projects such as public and community relations programs, evaluating local competitors' store marketing, identifying and tracking changing consumer demands.

Zalat Pizza is on a romantic mission to become a national multi-unit pizzeria with handmade products at mass volume. Best known for serving specialty pizzas with unique flavor combinations, Zalat has become a late-night staple across DFW. We have three primary goals - 1 is to make perfect tasting pizzas, 2 is to make customers for life, and 3 is to make our front-line pizza Zealots wealthy with stock options.
A day in the life of a pizza Zealot:
Channel your inner artist to create pizzas that not only taste amazing but look spectacular.
Ensure every pizza that leaves the oven is up to our high standards of deliciousness.
Maintain quality standards and consistency of food by complying with sanitation standards and ongoing training & development.
Spread the pizza love by ensuring every customer has a memorable and delicious experience.
Lift up to 25lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods of time, and work quickly and calmly around hot ovens.
Shift Lead Specifications:
Must understand company policies and procedures and ensure that you team follows them.
Lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain facilities and equipment to the highest standards.
Manage cook line to drive the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
Exhibit strong communication skills.
Learn operation support functions including purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, and inventory.

Food Handler's certification is required. If you do not have one, we will pay for you to get one.

Position: Shift Supervisor Minimum Experience: 1 year Shift: 5:30 am - 3:00 pm Hourly Compensation: $14.50 - $15.00 (annually $35,500 - $37,000)
Shift Supervisor's role: Braum's leaders execute the company's brand strategy and promote its vision, mission and values, resulting in a great customer experience and maximized sales. By recognizing the importance of our people, we can strengthen the team's contribution toward unit goals being achieved. Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members. Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality. Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales. Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed. Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly. Work Schedule: Work days vary based on a rotating 3 week schedule with an expected 45 hour work week. Reports to: Assistant Manager
