The Communications & Public Relations Coordinator plays an essential role in expanding the reach and impact of the National Agricultural Law Center, a unit of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture (UADA). This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that enhance the National Agricultural Law Center's visibility, reputation, and engagement with the nation's agricultural community.
This communicator will be responsible for development and implementation of a comprehensive strategic communications plan. This role supports external communication efforts such as media relations, digital content, newsletters, and website maintenance, and works closely with leadership to advance strategic goals. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive communicator with strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience in modern outreach tools.
The Communications & Public Relations Coordinator will be expected to:
* Write, publish, and promote news and feature stories about upcoming NALC events and relevant agricultural and food legal developments.
* Make personalized pitches to members of the media to expand the reach of NALC news releases.
* Build contact lists of relevant stakeholders and develop strategies to engage new users of NALC resources.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Interns will have the opportunity to pitch their own story ideas, whether print or digital based, throughout the summer as well as taking part in league wide video initiatives (i.e. Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Father's Day, etc.)
Overall we feel this internship offers students the rare opportunity to build their portfolio in an impactful manner. It also allows them to be apart of the most entertaining league in the country - no pressure.
(Travel to road games is NOT required. Working all home games is a MUST)
Compensation: Meal stipend for each home game worked. Local housing where available for interns outside of the team's geographic footprint.

What You'll Do
* Develops, directs and executes internal communications plan for the Morrisville FUJIFILM site and ensures alignment with Holly Springs, global narrative, its' people-focused achievements, People Strategy, company culture/values and other topics to support the company as a great place to work.
* Prepares content, executes, and facilitates internal communications, such as Town Halls, internal newsletters, video briefs and scripts, and all related messaging; in addition, engages with employees and leaders across the business to determine the appropriate audience, timing, channels, and verbiage for outgoing messages.
* Partners cross-functionally across teams in close collaboration with Human Resources, Operations and other functions both internally and externally to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery, while championing the inclusion of our employee and leadership voice.
* Serves as the on-site administrator of the FLBU Intranet site, ensuring information is timely and visually engaging; collaborates with Global Communications team to facilitate the creation of new site pages as needed; trains and empowers departmental contributors and page owners across other FLBU workstreams in their own page management, troubleshooting issues and answering questions as needed.
