RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively manages the nursing schedule and daily flow sheets to promote proper balance of the schedule. Maintains a Holiday, On-call and MDS schedule. Receives calls offs during the working hours and directs them to nursing leadership as needed call off during working hours Receives and completes personal request forms, birthday, vacation and leaves of absences; change of status, change of data are filled out by employee and noted for scheduling by staffing coordinator Assists new nursing personnel as directed by the DON for computer orientation as needed Attends staff meetings monthly and professional nursing and departmental staff meeting on a PRN basis. Assists with the onboarding and hiring as needed Monitors the required 12 hours continuing education for completion and computer documentation thereof. QUALIFICATIONS Requires licensure in the state the facility is located Excellent communication skills, especially in the area of confrontation management. Must establish strong organizational skills to provide consistency and fairness with maintaining company policy
