Job Summary
Supports the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Team in promoting sales, obtaining orders and providing service to our customers. Obtains orders, provides customers timely follow-up on technical inquiries, maintains reports, actively participate in the marketing and sale of Border States' products and services, resolves customer billing problems, and provides input on product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, and pricing development. The position can be in stationed in one of the following North Dakota Branches: Bismark, Minot, Williston, or Dickinson.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Works closely with Border States' sales and marketing staff to meet and exceed Branch sales and gross profit objectives.
Obtains orders and provides proactive customer service sales and service functions including order entry, expediting, pricing, returns, coordinate deliveries and follow-up on customer inquiries, as required.
Provides timely follow-up on customer technical inquiries and requests.
Maintains Open Order Reports, Billing Block Reports and other reports deemed necessary on a consistent basis.
Actively participates in the marketing and sale of Border States' products and services.
Consistently provides responsive, quality service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Provides input to BSE personnel on customer needs or concerns regarding pricing, inventory, products, competition and procedures.
Coordinates with the Customer Financial Services staff to resolve customer-billing problems resulting from errors in pricing, shipping, delivery or other credit areas.
Provides input to the pricing and purchasing areas on product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, pricing development, and other related functions.
Non-essential Functions
Attends sales meetings and training programs, as required.
May assist with sales meetings and trade shows, as needed.
May develop quotations and request bid or performance bonds for customers within company profit objectives and guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum of a two-year business/trade degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience.
Minimum of two years of prior customer service, city desk or sales experience with strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred.
Technical ability to understand electrical systems with a minimum of two-years of prior electrical distribution experience preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak in English preferred.
Prefer strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Internet, Email and SAP software.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.

Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Management Representative to join a National Park Service (NPS) project focused on bank stabilization at the Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site near Stanton, ND. The work involves on-site construction oversight of riverbank stabilization activities at a highly sensitive archeological site, requiring close coordination with NPS, the construction contractor, archeologists, and tribal monitors. The Construction Management Representative will support pre-construction coordination, full-time on-site construction oversight, and project close-out to ensure work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, schedule, safety standards, and federal resource protection laws on a project with heightened cultural and environmental sensitivity.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.
Arrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.
Arrange, attend, facilitate, and document project meetings, including weekly progress meetings, safety meetings, inspections, negotiations, and internal Government meetings; prepare meeting minutes within required timeframes.
Perform on-site inspections, including mock-ups, preparatory, initial, follow-up, and post-construction inspections; document findings with photographs, descriptions, and reports.
Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.
Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules.
Draft project related correspondence for NPS to review and issuance.
Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards.
Review, analyze, and assist in preparing cost estimates.
Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up.
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum four (4) year Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or other related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant construction and/or engineering work experience in construction management, preferably aligned to civil, environmental, and site-sensitive construction.
Experience working on federally funded projects or within historic and environmentally sensitive sites strongly

Preferred experience with heavy civil and environmental construction, including riverbank stabilization and erosion control, earthwork and grading, shoring and excavation near waterways, hydraulic/fluvial work, stormwater drainage, and soil stabilization.

Proficient in evaluating detailed cost estimates and contractor proposals, including breakdowns of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, and profit.
Skilled in identifying, defining, and documenting scope changes due to owner direction or differing site conditions.

Ability to interpret construction schedules and accurately assess and document project progress.
Capable of reviewing and evaluating payment requests against completed work and contractual milestones.

**What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health** The Customer Care Account Management Representative serves as the primary point of contact for approximately 6,000+ retail independent pharmacies, VIP buying groups, and hospital systems. Reps are expected to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with customers and sales representatives. This role manages 15-40 daily interactions via phone, inquiry intake form, and live chat, addressing complex topics including but not limited to pharmacy reimbursement, PBM contracting and affilation, claim adjudication, credentialing, and PSAO onboarding serving as the main conduit to Cardinal Health's PSAO's (LeaderNET, MSInterNet, and MCC).
Furthermore, this role acts as a dedicated single point of contact for both Product and Solutions inquiries, as well as PSAO-related questions, for our Topco buying group and Health System group.
Customer Care Account Management Representatives are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy back-office functions and providing expert support related to Managed Care and PSAO inquiries.
This role operates in a dynamic, high-volume environment requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with key stakeholders via telephone. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to delivering seamless customer service, exhibiting strong personal leadership, interpersonal skills, and effective communication techniques. The ability to successfully navigate escalated customer and sales-related calls is essential. Prior experience with Managed Care and PSAOs, pharmacy reimbursement processes, PBM contracts, and in-store pharmacy operations is highly desirable

**Responsibilities**
+ Will possess Tier 1 knowledge of all PSAO focuses
+ Working and routing Inquiry Intake Forms for PSAO Support
+ Customer outreach through email and over the phone
+ Manage an average of 10-20 customer cases at a time
+ Answer an average of 15-40 incoming calls per day from pharmacy staff and Sales Team
+ Act as the designated Managed Care representative in recurring meetings with pharmacy chains and buying groups, addressing inquiries and providing updates

Account representative job in Bismarck, ND
**Remote Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST (or based on business need)** **_What Accounts Receivable Specialist II contributes to Cardinal Health_** Account Receivable Specialist II is responsible for verifying patient insurance and benefits, preparing and submitting claims to payers, correcting rejected claims, following up on unpaid and denied claims, posting payments, managing accounts receivable, assisting patients with payment plans, and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
+ Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
+ Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
+ Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
+ Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
+ Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Submitting medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers
+ Researching and appealing denied and rejected claims
+ Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing
+ Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame
+ Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary
+ Reviewing insurance payments for accuracy and completeness
**_Qualifications_**
+ HS, GED, bachelor's degree in business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred
+ 2 + years' experience as a Medical Biller or within Revenue Cycle Management preferred
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment
+ Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Familiarity with ICD-10 coding
+ Competent with computer systems, software and 10 key calculators
+ Knowledge of medical terminology

+ Applies basic concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks
+ Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
+ Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems
+ Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions
+ Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
**Anticipated hourly range:** $22.30 per hour - $28.80 per hour
