Key Responsibilities · Perform all stages of metal finishing, including grinding, sanding, buffing, and polishing on stainless steel, brass, bronze, and aluminum components. · Achieve high-end surface finishes such as brushed, satin, mirror, or custom patina as specified. · Inspect and prepare fabricated parts prior to finishing to ensure welds and surfaces meet quality standards. · Use polishing tools, compounds, and equipment safely and effectively to produce uniform, defect-free surfaces. · Maintain polishing stations and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper condition of all tools and supplies. · Work closely with fabricators and management to meet project-specific aesthetic and quality requirements. · Assist with packaging, protection, and handling of finished components to prevent damage. · Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Your Profile / Qualifications Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail with consistent focus on quality. Ability to safely operate hand tools and related equipment. Proficient in safe hoisting and rigging practices. Knowledge of both U.S. Customary and Metric measurement systems.
