Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
Equipment Installation and Repair
* Transact all business in accordance with Animal Health International Inc.'s business code of ethics and conduct.
* Provide technical support, maintenance and repair for Animal Health International Inc. software, Animal Management Software (AMS)
* Responds to assigned customer service calls, diagnosing software and network problems, and making appropriate repairs.
* Responsible for software/network installation projects for current and new customer sites.
* Prepare for and perform standard system installations and test the functionality of all components.
* Provide technical assistance and training to customers as needed for proper operation of equipment and systems to achieve desired results.
* Complete all required service forms, records, and documentation as required.
* Maintain strong and supportive customer relationships by providing technical support after repair or installation; available for consultation and support which includes rotating nights and weekends on-call schedule.
* Maintain strong accountability in regard to employee and customer health and safety when performance service work, as environment and conditions will vary greatly.
* Inventory & Asset Management
* Prepare list of necessary equipment for each installation and service request.
* Uses, maintains, and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
* Monitor inventory of products used at assigned customer locations to assure that computers and network are in adequate condition for continuous operation at all times.
* Manage vehicle inventory and restock as necessary.
* Ensure proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of all company provided assets, including but not limited to computer, parts, , etc.
* Performs all other duties as assigned
Travel and On-Call:
* This position requires same day travel 50-75% in a local area and occasional overnight travel 15-25% in a regional area.
For this position being on-call is required.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years prior experience in a technical, software, or related field
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Ability to design, install, and configure/ troubleshoot simple wired and wireless networks.
Must be willing and able to work in a variety of physical and environmental conditions indoor and outdoor.
Able to climb heights 17' to 200'
