Major Purpose:

Performs/monitors standard processes or operations that are highly stable and/or relatively consistent in how to fix. TYPICAL EXAMPLES: imaging computers, replacing printer toner, disposing of outdated assets, and resolving trouble tickets from ServiceNow queues.
Documents recording and/or distributing information. Has some breadth, depth and/or frequency of interaction with external contacts. Typical examples include updating assets in Asset Center, following KB articles for problem resolution, and following unit specific processes.
Responsible for effective e-mail communications and ability to create and maintain basic
documents/records: TYPICAL EXAMPLES: --contact lists --process logs --problem incidence reports --customer information updates - exterior ship orders --inventory, maintenance or other service records--handling standard facilities administration requests
Responsible for recognizing problems with the processes/operations supported. Is responsible for resolving those problems with pre- established and documented solutions. Is responsible for reporting to others those problems that fall outside the scope of established procedures.
Maintains equipment, supplies, data supporting processes or operations. Typical examples includes scheduling routine equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, monitoring inventory, updating data records, and interacting with suppliers.
Applies some technical knowledge in the support of processes or operations TYPICAL EXAMPLES: --understanding basic printer operations to replace toner and pickup rollers, performing trouble shooting by following KB article to resolve end user tickets.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
Knowledge of computer security policies and a general overall knowledge of computer security concepts.
1 year or more IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered

Assist in supporting the IT project portfolio management activities to align with strategic objectives. Work with IT and business leaders to help develop business cases, prioritize projects, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain organizational communication plans related to IT projects and initiatives.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
+ Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT projects and regularly assess and reprioritize projects based on strategic goals.
+ Support the coordination of IT project requests from a conceptual phase through formal project initiation.
+ Help identify impediments and work with stakeholders to mitigate or resolve any negative impacts.
+ Collaborate with IT management and business leaders to establish and maintain a multi-year roadmap of IT projects and initiatives.
+ Assist in defining business cases for IT projects, preliminary project scope, deliverables, and initial project requirements.
+ Support staffing efforts across cross-functional teams for IT-related projects.
+ Help monitor and communicate project risks or issues to relevant stakeholders, leadership teams, and steering committees.
+ Build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external vendors.
+ Assist in the IT budgeting cycle and maintain an accurate view of IT project expenditures and planned costs throughout the year.
+ Support the IT project intake process and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the IT project management processes, methodologies, and tools.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related discipline, and 3 years of related IT experience; or
+ Associate's degree combined and 5 years of related IT experience; or
+ A high school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED) and 7 years of related IT experience.
+ Experience leading IT projects or managing IT project portfolios involving cross-functional teams, and multiple business units.
+ Expected to hold, or pursue and maintain, the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Comp TIA's Project+, or equivalent within 12 months of filling this role.
+ A valid driver's license.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
**This position is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position, which may allow physical and/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber related assets or systems. This position may allow access to privileged information relating to such assets or systems. **PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**
