Summer School will be held at Warrensville Heights Elementary School. Summer School hours will be from 8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday through Friday, June 10 - July 3, 2024, (19 days) excluding June 19, 2024. Compensation will be your hourly wage per the OAPSE contract. There will be no overtime.
Job Summary: Perform secretarial and administrative support functions. Serve as a liaison for the Summer School Coordinator. Treat each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district.

Position Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the principal or other administrator, to provide clerical, secretarial and administrative assistance to school administrators at a school site, conveying information regarding school functions and procedures; and supporting the broad array of services provided to students, parents, instructional and support employees.
Essential Functions
Prepares, copies and distributes notices, memoranda or other correspondence for the purpose of informing school employees regarding activities, events or other work-related matters.
Assist visitors to the office, including students, parents, substitutes teachers, and others.
Answers telephone calls, and provide information and assistance to callers.

We are looking for someone who is professional, friendly, and reliable to work part time at our front desk. The position is similar to a "retail" environment because the club is open 7 days a week so we will need help some days, some nights, and some weekends - especially SUNDAY (though we close at 5pm on Sat and Sun). Ideal candidate is able to serve beer. Starting pay is approximately $13/hour plus club membership and you would earn some tips for serving beer and smoothies. Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
