As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket. You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets. You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls. You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal. Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls. You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service. Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

    Abacus Technology is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to provide technical infrastructure support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Analyze and simulate network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments. Design, implement, and troubleshoot the most complex enterprise network solutions and/or issues. Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks. Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re‐work or for auditing/investigation purposes. Qualifications 10+ years experience in network engineering and administration. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ and CCNP certified. CCIE certification desired. Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches. Extensive experience with enterprise level network architectures and configurations. Able to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired. Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution. Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
