Cleaver-Brooks is looking for an IFS Systems Administrator to join our corporate IT in Thomasville, GA (remote candidate based in the United States will also be considered). The IFS Systems Administrator is focused on the delivery of IT solutions and systems to various business units throughout organization with emphasis on the IFS ERP system for both support and projects. This position will work closely with the rest of the ERP team, key business stakeholders, and others within IT in order to help enhance, automate, and support existing systems and review current system capabilities, workflow, and limitations.
Essential Duties:
Drive activities around environment management, including communication related to outages, downtime, access, and availability spanning multiple projects.
Ensure user license compliance and user provisioning best practices and cost reductions through optimization recommendations.
Provide operations and support, system maintenance and research to ensure continual innovation and predictable operations of the solution.
Monitor systems, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
Review system logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs for KPI and optimization opportunities.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
Design, architect, develop ERP solutions based on business requirements.
Analysis of business processes and systems.
Develop and support integrations between the ERP and other systems.
Creation and execution of test plans.
Documentation of solutions.
Communication of deliverables.
Supporting Help Desk tickets, projects, and Change Management processes.
Consult with internal customers to understand and document their requirements.

Oracle PL/SQL experience with knowledge of IFS Oracle database model.
Keep up to date with IFS updates, releases and improvements and communicate suggested steps to add value to the business.
Experience as the technical lead for an IFS implementation or buildup.
IFS System Administration
Work to ensure the reliable performance of the IFS ERP system.
Suggest improvements to standardize and/or improve Application and database performance.
Coordinate the testing and installation of system software patches and releases.
Manages and maintains the non-production system for testing purposes.
Creation and modifications of APIs, IALs and Procedures to function within IFS.
Use PL/SQL to create custom triggers, events, and processes.
Develop and support integrations between IFS and other applications.

This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.

You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.

Position Summary
The Network Administrator supports the mission of providing reliable and secure technology services across correctional healthcare facilities. This position is responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring the organization's network and server infrastructure to ensure consistent access to clinical and administrative systems. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Server services, network design, and management of Meraki and Aruba network devices. A key focus is on maintaining compliance with HIPAA and internal security policies while supporting operations in secure correctional environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple secure facilities to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
Manage and support Windows Server services, including File/Print Services, DHCP, and Group Policy Object (GPO) deployment and troubleshooting.
Configure, monitor, and support Meraki and Aruba switches and Meraki wireless access points, including dashboard management and performance tuning.
Monitor, Acknowledge, and Respond to network alerts for further triage/response.
Design, document, and maintain comprehensive network diagrams, IP address allocations, and equipment configurations.
Implement and maintain network security standards consistent with HIPAA and CJIS compliance requirements.
Perform firmware and software upgrades on network equipment; conduct periodic preventive maintenance and performance reviews.
Conduct packet capture and analysis to troubleshoot complex connectivity, latency, or security issues.
Automate network monitoring and alerting to identify and mitigate issues proactively.
Maintain accurate asset management and inventory documentation for all networking components and software licenses.
Serve as the technical point of contact for escalated network and infrastructure support issues.
Utilize the IT service management system to document incidents, changes, and resolutions in accordance with established change management procedures.
Provide status updates and clear communication to leadership, project managers, and facility contacts during maintenance, outages, or upgrades.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Travel to correctional sites for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental goals and mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
5 years of hands-on experience in network and systems administration within an enterprise or multi-site environment.
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server administration, including File/Print Services, DHCP, and Active Directory management.
Proven experience with Aruba and Cisco Meraki switching and wireless solutions, including dashboard configuration and monitoring.
Understanding of routing, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall management.
Experience designing and documenting network infrastructure using tools like Visio.
Familiarity with monitoring network device uptime with tools like PRTG.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a secure, fast-paced environment.

This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-3 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

This position is for a Senior Network Administrator in a mixed and growing environment currently supporting functional teams and customers that utilize MS Windows server 2019/2022, MS SQL 2019, MS Windows 11, VMWare 7.x.,OEL 8x-9x, and Oracle Operating systems. This position will work with the existing team members who are responsible for designing and supporting multiple complex networks in different locations. This position will help lead in the strategies to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support networks for multiple customer environments. This position will lead efforts to plan, execute and implement new network implementations. Responsible for creating and maintaining team technical instructions, operating procedures, and policies as needed. This position will need to be adept at monitoring and tuning system and network performance, ongoing operation of the network, hardening of the network and reporting of the overall security and operational status. The position will also recommend improvements to the enterprise and manage new SW/HW integrations when required while also providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed. This position will provide support towards the lifecycle of a mixed environment of vendor equipment in the datacenter to include firmware version control and periodic preventive maintenance. This position will also need to be able to recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to help expand, upgrade, and increase efficiency to the current environment.
