OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The Sr. Manager of Marketing Science drives and executes strategic initiatives that improve our marketing data and analytics capabilities. This role will leverage advanced analytics techniques and data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of paid, owned, and earned media measurement, strong analytics and insights skills, broad knowledge of marketing technologies, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to senior stakeholders. This role is critically important for the success of the Global Forecasting, Pricing, and Analytics (FPA) team and reports to the Head of Analytics within the team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leadership
Lead marketing science initiatives in the development and execution of advanced analytics to support marketing strategies and goals.
Provide thought leadership on marketing measurement techniques, including the trade-offs between controlled experiments, natural experiments, and multivariate statistical models for different situations.
Marketing Science
Partner with our media agency to ensure we are maximizing the output of our media mix model (MMM) partner.
Deep understanding and experience with creating and managing marketing attribution solutions, i.e., multi-touch attribution (MTA). Ability to build/maintain in-house solutions and/or work with outside partners as necessary.
Identify and maintain marketing analytics key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure performance.
Partner with data scientists, IT, and consultants to develop advanced analytical models and dashboards related to marketing.
Ability to perform statistical analyses and tests to quantify the business value of an opportunity.
Familiarity with AI/ML applications in marketing.
Reporting and Data Management
Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of marketing performance reports and insights.
Able to translate data into contextualized insights that can be shared across the business
Know digital media terminology and concepts (e.g., Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), effectiveness vs. efficiency, SEO/SEM, etc.)
Leverage existing experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Partner with the Data, Digital, and Technology (DD&T) Team to ensure marketing data accuracy, integration, and integrity, and that good data governance practices are in place.
Develop solutions (dashboards, data visualizations, reports) for real-time operations performance assessment and agile decision-making.
Design and automate regular data extracts needed by marketing and other partners.
Collaboration and Adaptability
Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners for efficient alignment, coordination, and information sharing across teams.
DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS
Technical/Functional Expertise
Extensive experience across many areas of marketing science; MMM, MTA, Loyalty, Website, Surveys, Paid/Owned/Earned Media.
Experience with SQL, Python, and R for data analysis and model development.
Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in many of the following statistical and AI/ML methods: regression analysis (continuous, categorical, survival, time-series, and count models, etc.); classification (CART, SVM, Neural Networks, etc.), clustering (k-means/medoid, hierarchical, self-organizing maps, etc.), and other AI/ML techniques; experimental design; and forecasting/sensitivity analysis.
Comfortable working daily in cloud-based data platforms.
Expert level MS Excel skills, including advanced functions (e.g., Solver), data analysis, pivot tables, macros, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and applicability of these features for developing and managing financial models for business case development and forecasting.
Experience working with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software.

Experience with data analytics from end-to-end, i.e., including ideation, proposal creation, getting stakeholder buy-in, gathering requirements, designing analytics models/solutions, building prototypes, and working with IT/Data Science teams to deploy and scale solutions.
7+ years of experience in advanced analytics and statistical modeling in the areas of business performance analysis, forecasting, promotion and media effectiveness and optimization, and consumer behavior
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

$137,000.00 - $215,270.00

Key Responsibilities

Cards and electronic payments are a critical component of WesBanco's banking services. The relationships that drive payments are complex and entail interaction between our signature transaction provider (Visa), our pin provider (NYCE), and our core processor. About the role
As the Unit Manager, you will be Responsible for leading, supervising and developing employees to meet individual unit performance objectives, which may include time standards, quality & production goals. Will supervise an operational unit of 8+ employees.
What you will do
Providing employees with coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities and building effective teams.
Setting clear expectations and holding employees accountable for performance.
Overseeing training and development of employees and making effective staffing decisions. Building appropriate bench strength. Ensuring employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
Providing coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve employee, business and customer results.
Challenging and inspiring employees to achieve business results and motivating them through leadership and by celebrating successes.
Accountable for managing daily workflow to meet Service Level Agreements, including making recommendations for maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
Responsible for appropriate record keeping, required reports, and ensuring related administrative functions are correct and maintained according to company policies.
Accountable for resolution of customer and/or partner questions and complaints.
Defining short-term goals and objectives for their work group.
Effectively communicating unit/department/company goals to achieve understanding and acceptance.
Continuously building subject matter expertise by being a student of the business. Demonstrating technical knowledge of policies and procedures.
Manages essential support functions and special projects as needed.
Assisting in the development of processes and procedural changes to improve unit/department performance.
Other duties as assigned.

Compensation
$66,100 - $110,100 annually plus eligibility for Company Annual Bonus
Who you are
High School diploma required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership potential, including the ability to train, mentor and coach individuals and/or a group.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze issues trends that impact customer satisfaction.
Previous supervisory experience.
Previous customer service experience.
Previous Stop Loss experience preferred.
Previous experience in an operations environment.
Working knowledge of common software applications, business platforms.

The Director of Field Operations (DFO) provides leadership, direction, mentorship, and management for multiple markets within the organization with combined revenues of $100MM or greater. The role has responsibility for the fiscal performance of assigned markets and translation of organizational objectives into market-specific objectives that increase efficiency and effectiveness. The position is based out of the home market and frequently travels to other assigned markets to develop hospital leaders, guide progress toward the strategic plan, and drive operational excellence.
As a Veterinary Director of Field Operations, you will:
Champion and represent the BluePearl mission and vision in all interactions.
Communicate and support key initiatives impacting hospital staff, translating organizational objectives into market and hospital-specific action plans.
In partnership with the region's RVPs, you will monitor hospital KPIs and manages the execution of plans to achieve KPI performance objectives.
Manage revenue targets of $100+ million.
Consistently assess the engagement level of associates; take a proactive approach to influence and drive a positive hospital climate. Accountable for associate engagement and retention.
Foster a collaborative and trusting relationship between the Support Team and hospitals, providing feedback and engaging in dialogue to facilitate continuous improvement.
Lead, direct, mentor and develop direct reports and high-potential indirect reports to ensure hospitals have effective and engaged local leadership. Ensures a culture of self-development is present amongst leaders and contributes to the creation of a talent pipeline to support future organizational growth.
In partnership with P&O, responsible for hiring, training, performance coaching, and succession planning for hospital management positions.
Ensure standards for service quality, equipment, and Clinician productivity/performance are met and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production. Ensures fixed assets are preserved. Initiates recommendations for purchases of new equipment and improvements.
Advise direct reports regarding labor issues including safety, security, scheduling, training, and protocols. Ensures direct reports are adhering to company policies.
Maintain current knowledge of information technology as relates to hospital operations.
Partner with assigned Vet Relations Manager(s) (VRMs) to collaborate on pDVM referral strategies that impact assigned markets.
Work collaboratively with the BluePearl Support Team to develop solutions for escalated hospital matters and influences hospitals to shape adoption and ensure effectiveness of resolutions.

Working Conditions:
Approximately 50-75% travel is required.
Must be able to travel long distances by air, train, or car on short notice for extended periods of time. Must meet age requirements of national car rental agencies and have reliable private transportation for frequent local travel including a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete the essential duties of this job.
