Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop a deep understanding of all DMP products by working with DMP product managers, engineering team members, and technical support personnel.
2. Participate in customer visits and discussions to identify and fill product gaps while generating new ideas to help grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
3. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with engineering, software quality assurance, internal and external customers providing clear direction, planning, clarification, guidance, decisions, status, and issue resolution.
4. Create detailed product specifications, based on direction from Product Managers.
5. Assists Product Manager to create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
6. Assists Product Managers in prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact.
7. Assists with the collection of market intelligence by working with customers and the market in which we operate-Security, Access Control, Video, and Fire.
8. Works closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver quality products, services, training, and support with quick time-to-market. Drives product launches.
