Responsibilities for this Position
A Systems Admin Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's technology infrastructure. This includes installing and updating software, managing servers and networks, and troubleshooting any technical issues. They may also be involved in security efforts, ensuring data protection and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing the functionality, efficiency, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both physical and virtual hardware including those in lab environments and computers running on one or more operating systems using monitoring tools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position is responsible for ensuring all desktops run smoothly in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. Responsibilities:
Ensure all desktop systems run smoothly in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
Assist the Systems Administrator with network/telecom deployments.
Support users of PC's, Macs, Tablets and other forms of computing equipment

Qualifications:

Previous experience with Agilysis Point of Sales systems is a plus.
Previous experience with AS/400 and OS/400 systems is a plus.
Previous experience supporting a large user community (500 users +), and a minimum 5 years of IT related support is highly desirable.
Previous IT experience in a casino is highly desirable.
Participation in a rotational on-call schedule required.
Experience with remote access in a Windows environment
Experience maintaining vendor relationships, including the purchase of hardware and software products is required.
Extensive knowledge of internet connectivity, printer connectivity, and help desk disciplines.
Experience with desktop performance monitoring, network connectivity, problem diagnosis, desktop management, and remote administration.
Experience with managing Windows-based PCs from setup to deployment and networking to machine diagnosis.

Responsibilities:
Tailoring/configuring software into a product viable for submarines and developing the associated load plans and procedures
Developing GFI packages appropriate to support the development of ECR's, SHIPALTs, HW, and software alterations to Submarine Network systems
Building software installation packages (boat specific software configurations) and supporting onboard installations
Work closely with Ship's Force personnel to train them on the successful administration of the network
Responsibilities during installations include running hardware and software checks, migrating data from legacy systems onto the new systems, managing and coordinating the schedules of connecting subsystems, as well as providing on-the-job training to administrators and running verification tests on the new system
Requirements:

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field (master's degree preferred).
10+ years of experience in computer engineering or a related technical role.
Strong experience with signal processing algorithm design and implementation.
Familiar with statistical and time-spectral signal exploitation for contact localization, classification and track.
Experience with AUV guidance and control system engineering and capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of networking, security practices, and infrastructure management.
Strong programming skills for model-based design and software implementation on embedded systems (MATLAB, ADA, C).
Ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Capacity to work in restricted access facilities and maintain compartmentalized information security standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with DoD, Navy programs is a plus, specifically MK48/MK54 platforms and associated programs.
Familiarity with passive and active acoustic contact discriminants and exploitation methodology.
Experience with safety-critical software development standards, hardware-in-the-loop and in-water testing.
