GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Applications Specialist is required to recommend and apply basic water treatment applications and solutions, as well as communicate program results to USP Account Managers, Territory Managers, and Commercial Leadership.
Qualified individuals in this role are expected to always offer professional and high-quality customer and technical services to customers. Further a desire to perform basic water testing, taking measurements, documenting results through reports, and sharing quantitative data.
Qualified applicants must have the ability to gain understanding of USP treatment programs including chemical feed equipment, taking and documenting field data, troubleshooting, and safe management of chemical deliveries. The candidate must be able to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Account operations to include feed rate monitoring and adjustments to exceed expectations
Routine wastewater or water sample collection, testing and data management
Interprets data collected and reports recommendations for account performance management
Organizes data in USP reporting tools and delivers reports as required
Oversight of chemical delivery process to ensure timely and safe chemical deliveries
Chemical system inspection and basic service, troubleshooting and maintenance
Customer interface and coordination for daily work
Timely and efficient communication with account management team/cross functional support teams
Ability to recognize out of spec situations or safety concerns and manage per customer and Company protocols
Ability to assess workload and self-manage accordingly with manager and cross functional teams
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Preference given to candidates having advanced lab skills and ability to organize and communicate program specifics, including system surveys, customer reports, company forecasting, and application performance management.
Industry knowledge specific to water and wastewater treatment desired.
Excellent written/verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be a team player and succeed in a cross functional, team environment.
Demonstrated technical and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
Must maintain a high level of integrity, maturity and accountability in a remote self-managed work environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Environmental, Engineering, or technical degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of customer facing water/wastewater treatment or equivalent experience.

Required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for deliveries which may include eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective apron, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.
Occasionally in extreme heat conditions.
Required to use ear plugs for hearing protection.
Both Indoor and outdoor sites may have high noise levels.
Outdoor site can be located at a cooling tower, water plant, wastewater plant, or a process area.
Use of hazardous chemicals is routine.

Information technology professional job in Hartington, NE
Purpose:
Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, or Shop Foreman.
Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians
Conducts or supports customer clinics
Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required
Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submittal of information
May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
Qualifications:
Experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred
Experience performing repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technicians specialty
Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes
Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR or other computer based diagnostic repair tools preferred
Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
Valid driver's license required
