This position is responsible for coordinating the Polytechnic Launch program and related initiatives that support students in their transition to college and retention. The working title of this assignment is Communications and Student Engagement Coordinator with an official title of Outreach ProgramCoordinator. The Communications and Student Engagement Coordinator develops and implements College communication strategies. The Coordinator supports undergraduate student success by planning and executing events, strengthening strategic community partnerships, and advising the student leadership teams of all COB student organizations. Serving as a key liaison between students, Admissions, employers, alumni, and the campus community, the Coordinator fosters student engagement, career readiness, and professional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field.
* Minimum of two years of full-time experience in a secondary or post-secondary educational setting, preferably within higher education.
* Experience managing complex student situations and/or supporting students in crisis.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in student affairs, higher education administration, counseling, education, or a closely related field.
* 1-2 years of professional experience administering student conduct processes, preferably in a higher education setting.
* Experience using Maxient or similar case management systems.
* Formal investigative training (e.g., Gehring Academy, Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA), SUNY Student Conduct Institute (SCI), and/or prior experience in law enforcement or human resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Student Conduct Coordinator plays a key role in promoting student accountability, academic integrity, and a safe campus environment at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. This position is responsible for administering both academic and non-academic misconduct processes in a manner that is educational, fair, and restorative.
The coordinator serves as the primary contact for faculty, staff, and students regarding academic misconduct concerns and provides guidance and support throughout the conduct process. This position also assists in developing and implementing educational outreach and prevention efforts that align with institutional values and best practices
* Receives and processes student conduct referrals, conduct preliminary investigations, and coordinate conduct resolution meetings or hearings in accordance with university policies.
* Administering the student conduct process in a fair, impartial, restorative, and educational manner.
* Coordinate the academic misconduct process by reviewing incident reports, consulting with faculty, and guiding involved parties through resolution procedures.
* Develop and lead academic integrity initiatives, including educational outreach and the implementation of a restorative justice approach.
* Maintain accurate and timely case records using Maxient (student case management software).
* Elevate serious or complex cases to the Associate Dean of Students or Dean of Students, as appropriate.
* Assist with Title IX investigations and related administrative actions, as needed.
* Serve on university committees, search committees, and task forces, representing the Dean of Students Office.
* Participate in university events, which may include occasional evening or weekend responsibilities.
* Engage in ongoing professional development related to student conduct, restorative practices, academic integrity, and equity in higher education.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
