Job Summary
The Health Program Coordinator is the lead program specialist responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs under the jurisdiction of the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH). This position provides programmatic leadership and technical guidance to Health Program Specialists and other staff while ensuring that all activities align with state public health goals, agency standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as the lead coordinator in the design, implementation, and monitoring of assigned public health programs. Guide and support program staff (including Health Program Specialists) by providing technical assistance, direction, and mentorship in program development and delivery. Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of program performance data, and use findings to make informed decisions and improvements. Develop comprehensive program plans, logic models, budgets, and timelines, ensuring compliance with grant and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal and external partners-including local health units, schools, healthcare providers, nonprofits, and other agencies-to promote community-based services and collaborative efforts. Prepare and manage program documentation, including grant reports, operational plans, training materials, and stakeholder updates. Facilitate or lead trainings, workshops, advisory groups, and public health campaigns relevant to the program's goals. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the program and recommend or implement policy adjustments as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of public health principles, program planning, evaluation methods, and evidence-based interventions. Knowledge of state and federal public health regulations, funding requirements, and data reporting protocols. Proficient in the use of data analysis tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other program-specific tracking software. Ability to interpret public health data and apply findings to programmatic decisions and communications.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or a closely related field, plus two (2) years of experience in public health, program coordination, or health education.

Job Summary
The Mentoring Program Coordinator oversees the development and implementation of the youth mentoring program, which matches adult volunteer mentors with youth in a one-to-one relationship. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Enhancing and overseeing the implementation of an ongoing mentor recruitment plan including the development of annual recruitment and quarterly activity plans, development and distribution of program marketing materials, presentations to targeted organizations and ensuring a presence at key community events
Ensuring timely response and support to mentor, mentee and parent/guardian inquiries and concerns throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
Implementing program policies and procedures for the mentor and mentee screening ensuring the safety and confidentiality of program participants
Work with case managers and direct services staff to identify mentors for the program
Outreach and communications to increase referrals or obtain new mentors

Job Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY
The Echocardiogram Technologist (PRN) uses high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) and other noninvasive echocardiography testing equipment to produce diagnostic images. We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction & Maintenance Technician I based in Benton, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs company field operations including manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair, construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe
Provide First Responder assistance in emergency situations
Load and unload required equipment, tools, and supplies onto and from truck
Locate gas lines
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools, including picks, shovels, sharpshooters, pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, bolt cutters, pavement saws, jack hammers, air guns, etc.
Operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment and the ability to enter and exit vehicle unassisted
Operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop
Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
Stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch daily for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions
Handle emergency situations, including possible exposure to gaseous atmospheres on occasion
Respond to emergency calls and/or call-outs and occasionally return to work while off duty
Certify and don personal protective equipment, such as respirator, safety glasses, hardhat, gloves, protective footwear and earplugs on a daily basis
Submit to random drug screen pool required for DOT drivers and DOT safety sensitive positions
Perform other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to work outdoors on a daily basis in all types of weather conditions
Must be available to respond to emergencies during and after normal working hours
Nice to have experience includes:
Welding
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Heavy equipment operator
Field services/operations
The position is covered under the D.O.T. regulations and Summit Utilities Drug and Alcohol Policy and is, therefore, subject to all terms of the Policy, including the random selection for drug testing.
