PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
Assisting the children with activities under the direction of the Therapist in our Early Childhood setting.
Safe and efficient pick-up and delivery of children participating in our programs.
Safe operation and maintenance of the vehicles being used as appropriate.
Schedule will be approximately afternoons Tuesday through Thursday. Average 20-28 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, must have a valid Driver's License.
Must be 21 years of age. At least five years driving experience, with minimal to no traffic violations. Educational background or experience working with young children 3-5 years of age preferred.
Must be able to navigate through communities in which we are operating safely and efficient. Ability to program a GPS or read maps accordingly to find correct locations for pick-up and drop off. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure safe operation at all times.

Big Stone Therapies is currently seeking a part-time Clinic Administrative Assistant to join our team at our rehabilitative therapy clinic in Minneota, MN located at 700 N Madison St. This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week (0.50 FTE). The hours for this position are Monday - Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm.
Job Duties:
Scheduling
Schedule new referrals. Gather and verify demographic and insurance information.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments as required.
Monitor patient schedule to maximize productivity.
Perform patient appointment reminder.
Provide instructions to patients to ensure they are prepared for appointments.
Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur.
Assess staffing needs for high and low census times.
Communicate with therapists about schedules, patients, and any changes.
Schedule all other non-patient care time. (Meetings, care conferences, PTO, etc.)
Collecting co-pays.
Customer Service
Demonstrate excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, visitors, referral sources, co-workers, and all other parties.
Courteously receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails.
Maintain the appearance of the waiting room.
Maintain confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information.
Other
Distribute mail.
Scan, fax, and print documents.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Education
Require high school graduate or equivalent.
Prefer two-year degree in a related field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and co-workers in a professional manner.

The Seasonal Office Assistant will provide support to ensure efficient operations in Redwood Falls during our busy tax season from January through April. They will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the tax process, including handling confidential and time-sensitive materials. This position is part of a schedule-sharing team, so exact hours and location can rotate and allow for flexibility. Ideal candidates are available between 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and some additional hours leading up to deadlines.
