ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Ensure General Merchandise personnel are well trained and available when needed.
Design displays for merchandise, which are appealing to customers. Make effective use of:
Fixtures
Wall Displays
Show Cases
Glass Cubes & Towers
Mannequins
Window Displays
Regulate seasonal promotions (i.e. holiday display themes, fashion shows, special events, etc.) and coordinate them with other departments.
Review all stock orders to ensure a fast moving balanced inventory of General Merchandise. Coordinate orders with P&A manager, if possible.
Maintain sufficient quantities of stock to support demand and acceptable inventory turn ratio.
Assist staff when needed.
Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for General Merchandise management, including generating and reviewing Inventory reports.
Supervise and maintain an accurate up-to-date inventory management & control system
Ensure employees keep all merchandise and displays clean, well dusted, and appealing to customers.
Set-up and maintain a smooth running, efficient, appealing retail environment for the General Merchandise department.
Purchase product assortments, gauge stock movement, and devise promotions, when necessary.
Establish departmental work schedule, balancing the workloads of all employees.
Establish job assignments and sales quota's for all General Merchandise personnel within their skill level.
Set policies and procedures for General Merchandise department.
Manage employee performance (evaluate and council).
Assist Dealer Principal or General Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating employees.
Maintain records of all employee performance reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with retail sales and inventory management.
Prefer knowledge and experience with servicing of Harley-Davidson General Merchandise, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge & experience with computers.

Actively work the sales floor, interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store's sales goals.
Be one of the top two (2) sales people in the store. Lead all staff in world-class customer service to deliver on all financial goals of the organization.
Participate in the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly financial review meetings, and other meetings as necessary.

Organize, implement, and validate staff training. Training areas include sales, merchandising, Daily Task List, Ascend POS, Ascend Analytics, and product training.

Conduct a bi-weekly leadership meeting with Service Lead, Sales Lead, and Inventory Lead to review the past two weeks performance as well as plan for future weeks.
Store merchandising and operations = 15%
Participate in store merchandising to ensure a professional, accessible, and inviting shopping experience-this includes sorting, straightening, arranging fixtures, and setting up feature displays.
Monitor store supplies and ordering or purchasing additional supplies as needed.
Responsible for exporting daily files into QuickBooks at least once per week.
Human resources = 10%
Actively take part in all aspects of human resources and staffing within the store, including interviewing potential employees, completing new-hire paperwork, creating schedules, and implementing discipline.

UGP is seeking a dynamic Associate Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Associate Sales Manager will be a member of the Sales team, working alongside and reporting to the Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager.
This position is classified as in-person, hourly non-exempt. The schedule will be determined and may vary based on the needs of the business.

Sales

Reporting to the ML are Area Directors, who are multiple unit operators, responsible for the overall functions of the cafés in their areas. Reporting to the Area Directors are the General Managers, who are the chief Cafe managers responsible for the overall running of their café. Aiding the management of the Cafe are Assistant Managers, who are responsible for running of their departments and who help with every-day management responsibilities. Rounding out the cafe leadership are Team Managers.

**Position Description**
Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly cafes which feature baked breads and pastries. We serve made-to-order soups, salads and sandwiches as well as specialty espresso beverages.
**No Fryers and No Late Nights.** We're known for our artisan breads, quality soups, salads and sandwiches which results in a grease and alcohol-free environment for our associates. As a manager, this means no late nights, but we do hope you're a morning person.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Restaurant management combines strategic planning, shift organization and day-to-day management activities. At Panera Bread, restaurant management is fast paced, highly demanding and very rewarding.
Typical work activities for Restaurant Managers:
+ Taking responsibility for the overall business performance of the restaurant, including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities management, bakery operations, and catering.
+ Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
+ Creating and executing plans for sustained profitability
+ Primary conduit of information between the associate and the management team
+ Retaining and developing the team members and managers
+ Manages a budget and controlling costs
+ Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
+ Greeting customers and doing table visits to ensure customer satisfaction
+ Inspire associates to have fun and be their authentic selves while generating high productivity
+ Coach and mentor associates through One-on-One's, Performance Documentation and Performance Reviews
+ Anticipates problems and takes action to prevent them
+ Serve as the primary resource for resolving associate questions
+ Serves as a primary specialist within the bakery‐cafe, ensuring associates are properly trained and fully
competent in all aspects of food service and customer support:
+ Recruiting and training staff to meet staffing par levels
+ Ensures objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values and following ethical business practices.

**Education and Experience**
+ At least 2-3 years Hospitality Management experience
+ A degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred
+ Food Management Certifications also a plus
+ Must have the "Run it Like you Own It Mentality"

**Physical Standards:**
